- EHErica HopperSep 1, 20251.0Worst experience ever. You would think that with the Verizon outage, the staff would be more helpful to customers who were coming in for assistance. I have been a Verizon customer for over 12 years and upgraded my phone. I got my new phone from the non -corporate store in CF and when I mentioned that to the salesman he made a smug facial expression as if they were not legit and something was wrong with my phone. When I tried to explain to him that I felt the activation did not work correctly, all he did was call my phone and said looks like it works now. So I left. I was still receiving text messages on my old phone even though there was no cellular service to it. I went back to the Verizon corporate store and another salesman treated me the same way. He texted my phone and said looks like it works now. There was no additional investigation or clicking through anything on the phone to see if the setup was correct. It was as long as you get a text it works. I left. I called tech support. It took them 45 minutes to fix my phone because due to the outage the activation did not transfer correctly from my old phone to my new phone. However, it is now working and I am thankful to the tech support on the phone. If this corporate store does not have any technicians they should say that because it feels like a used car lot with car salesmans who really doesn't care and just wants to collect a check or meet a quota.
