They messed up the process so badly that it is taken six calls to Verizon customer service and five trips to the corporate store on Delaware in Ankeny to try to get it all fixed. I have probably put 20 hours into this process of just trying to be a Verizon customer. I should have known while I was there that this was going to end badly. The guy working was trying to help three different people at the same time instead of giving one customer his undivided attention. Obviously that’s when mistakes are made. Not only did I not get Internet set up, a separate account was created and the phone line was assigned which I had later got billed for, and almost taken to collections for because I didn’t know the account existed. And neither account was even created correctly. It was such a mess. They need to make it more clear that this is an authorized reselling location, not an actual Verizon store. All they can do is sell your product, they will not do anything to try to help you fix it.
