I have been in the sales business selling vehicles for over 40 years. I had Ahmad greet me at the door when I visited this location. I was thinking about uprgrading my iPhone 12 Mini to a iPhone 17. I was not planning on doing it that day. Ahmad took the necessary time to explain all of my options. This gentleman was extremely knowledgeable and his expertise and assistance lead me to upgrade my iPhone while I as at the store. The entire process was just brilliant. In short - only go here if you are lookin to purchase a new phone. Do not go for help with an issue.
This location is a Verizon authorized retailer NOT an actual Verizon store. It appears to be ran by Cellular Sales. From what I’ve read online the staff work on commission not salary, so you will be upsold to get a new phone. Also it seems to be mostly staffed by non-Iowan personnel. Very few locals are employed there.
My SIM card (older iPhone) had issues and as that’s a carrier problem I went into a “Verizon” store to ask. The staff were very friendly and knew what they were doing, but it was literally 2 mins in and they were talking plan upgrades and cost of new phones. Never mentioned why I need a new phone just straight to we can get you a phone for XYZ price. I witnessed another customer walk out because their only option being provided was also to purchase a new phone. So if you’re looking for for a new phone, go here, they will be an excellent choice. But if you need help and don’t want to purchase a new phone go somewhere else that isn’t ran by Consumer Sales.

Hands down the best Verizon experience I’ve ever had. He went absolutely above and beyond. He broke everything down, made sure I got exactly what I needed, and didn’t rush a single thing. Buying phones is usually annoying he made it smooth, fast, and actually enjoyable. Elite service, 5 stars isn’t enough ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!
Not sure of the gentleman’s name we worked with. All I know is that he said he was up here from Florida working. I am EXTREMELY upset with how our interaction went. Me and my husband went in to do an early upgrade on his phone. Instead of them doing that, they added a completely new line to our account, without even asking if that’s what we would like to do. When asked multiple times what he was doing, I never got an answer. When asked how much our monthly bill would be going forward, I would never get an answer. I work for Us Cellular and that came up in conversation so of course all he did was add the new device to our new line and said “you know how to do the rest” and sent us on our way. Which resulted in me having to call in and get an eSIM put on for the old phone. Then getting our bill after that, there was a device payout charge for his old phone. Which we also did not want to do. The whole interaction was completely unprofessional and would NEVER recommend him to anyone.
Jessica has helped us on multiple occasions, and every single time she has made the experience smooth, enjoyable, and completely stress-free. Her knowledge, patience, and genuine care truly set her apart. We have even traveled away from our home store just to continue receiving the incredible service she and her team consistently provide. That level of dedication and customer care is rare to find. Highly, highly recommend Jessica and her team to anyone looking for outstanding service at Verizon!
