- HFHeather FulfordNov 16, 20255.0I went into the Altoona Verizon store on 11/14/25 to go over my bill. I walked in & was greeted by Deon who immediately started assessing my issue. There was an unpaid balance carrying over from the previous bill when I pay my bill in full every month so he agreed with my request to correct & advised me that I need to call customer service to get it removed. I dialed customer service, experienced a 15 minute hold before I got to the first rep. Thankfully I decided to stay in the Verizon store while I called because customer service at multiple levels was not helpful at all & even hung up on me 45 minutes into the call. Visibly upset, I waited for a store rep to continue helping me. Everyone was busy but there was a rep who briefly asked about the issue and attempted to help but it needed direct attention and he was busy so I waited for someone to free up. Insert Colin, who was amazing at getting what I needed done. He heard me and understood the problem, all while I was still very upset. He handled calling customer service back, going through multiple levels of support again, going to bat for my issue and was very patient and kind the whole way through. I honestly cannot thank Colin and everyone at the store for helping me in their own ways but by far, Colin was exactly what I needed and I’m so appreciative he was there to step in and help me get my bill corrected.
