Horrible store. Purchased an iPad and went to pick it up from there mobile pick up. Wasn’t able to open it myself and the manager wouldn’t open it for me because I wasn’t the main person on the account. After being added as an admin on the account and calling Verizon customer service the manger still refused the give me the iPad I had receipt for and the card used the purchase it. Did want to help me at all. Had me there for over an hour for simple pickup.

I’m a disabled veteran. I have no use of my arms or legs. So I have to depend on others for everything.
I went to this Verizon store to get a service provided to me. I wasn’t buying any products. I arrived at the store only to have to wait the usual wait time of five to ten minutes. I WISH.
The manager greeted me when I came in, not bad. Told me that there will be a short wait. I waited for about fifteen minutes. Then when the associate came, she asked for my ID. I don’t carry it with me because I don’t have use of my hands and I don’t have a wallet. I DO have my tablet that I use to operate by mouth. It has my military ID on it.
I tried to show it to the associate, but was denied because it wasn’t the actual card. The manager should have been able to use his own discretion instead of telling me this is a high fraud area. There are people like me who still like to get out in the community. Not everyone has the ability to use their hands and have different disabilities. We should be given the decency to be recognized without a piece of plastic to verify who we are.
The picture showed my identity clear as day. So, because I didn’t have my ID I had to wait another twenty minutes for the query to reset. So now I have been waiting for close to an hour. I am not asking for special treatment or anything. I’m asking for common sense to be used when it comes to dealing with a person who is visibly disabled. I understand it’s that time of the year people steal, but I was trying to get a service done, not steal. Why would I use a fake ID to get a service.
If have time to waste, have FUN waiting. I will not use this location for anything.
