I went in to get information about upgrading my phone. Left the store and arrived back to my uncle’s house (I am visiting from South GA) to notice 2 emails from Verizon about an order I have placed. I called the store back and was told the order was placed but I have 7 days to pick it up or it can go into the store’s inventory. I never said I wanted to place an order, while at the store. I never paid for anything, while at the store. I did say that I am from South GA visiting. I called customer service and stayed on the phone with them for 30 minutes, to make sure the “order” was canceled. Myself nor any other Verizon Customer should have to deal with the hassle of an order being placed without our approval. The experience today really has me thinking about changing to a different mobile phone company. Not a very happy Verizon Customer at the moment.
