  I attended this school in 2023 and graduated with my associates degree in medical assisting. The only teacher who actually taught was Mr. Mcrae. He also seems to be the only genuine person there. I was looking forward to going back to school spring of 2026. I requested my transcripts a week ago and have yet to receive them. I contact the school and asked for an update. I was told my transcripts were sent to the university of Phoenix, I’m currently a resident in North Carolina. Also want to add I paid $310 for them to be sent because I owe “fees”. I informed them I didn’t not apply for my transcripts to be sent to Arizona and was told there was some kind of mix up due to my last name change. Before my graduation I got married and showed proof of last name change and they have yet to fix it. I was informed they were sent to the correct address. In each email I have asked multiple times if I can access the transcripts online or view them. My questions were never answered. I was only told that I can’t track them. Mind you I applied for my high school transcripts 2 days ago and I was able to see them online and track them with same shipping company USPS. Today is the day I’m suppose to be signing up for classes and unfortunately I can’t. Everyone knows when it comes to signing up for classes you have limited time due to them being full quickly. Unfortunately due to me not having my transcripts within the 3-5 days I was told I will have to wait almost a whole year to take the appropriate classes which will put me behind. Morale of the story I would not recommend this college to anyone it’s very unorganized and unprofessional. If your trying to get ur transcripts be prepared to wait weeks to receive them.

  I graduated from Gwinnett College in 2025 and had a very successful year. All of my instructors were knowledgeable, supportive, and truly excellent.

  I had to leave the school because I moved hours away and now that im trying to further my education they have been withholding my transcripts. They told me it was for a balance. A new rule from the U.S. Department of Education, effective July 1, 2024, prohibits colleges from withholding transcripts for course credits paid for with federal financial aid. This includes loans, grants, and work-study funds. Colleges can still hold transcripts if a student owes money for credits not covered by federal aid. They wont give me anything at all. Its disheartening that I couldnt sign up for a 4 year university because they wanted all my transcripts and this the only school withholding them. I cant get in contact with anybody via email or phone. I am currently working with another school administration to escalate this issue.

  I started going to MedTech in April of 2016. I enrolled in the medical billing and coding program. It was one of the best decisions I've made. I'm so grateful for all of my instructors for guiding me through my time there. I'm currently on externship and I couldn't be happier with my placement site. And Mrs. Middlebrooks (Career Services Director)is amazing and so helpful! I will remember everyone for making me love what I do.

  We had a great experience with the process and with Terri Middlebrooks who placed two wonderfully educated Medical Assistant with our practice over the past year. We are very pleased and would recommend Gwinnett College to anyone looking for quality MAs.
