I’ve upgraded my phone multiple times and have never paid more than $90. Turns out he was trying to sell me an unnecessary bundle of accessories, and trying to charge for me the data transfer when I told him I’d like to set up the phone myself. This fee is $40 and not necessary to pay if you know how to transfer your data from iPhone to iPhone. When I kindly asked him to take off the fee because I didn’t need help setting it up he became rude and told me there wasn’t a way for him to take it off. I told him that I’ve had it taken it off multiple times when I’ve upgraded my phone. He then told me he couldn’t sell me the phone if I didn’t pay for the data transfer. I refused, went down the road to another Verizon and they took off the data transfer no questions asked.
