We moved to Ocala in June, we called VCA at Buffalo Ridge for our lovely Rose. During the move we noticed a lump on her eye lid. This popped one night right after we moved into our home. They were so passionate with her and the staff is polite. They made us feel she is part of their family. I love her doctor. She so soft spoken and answers any concern we have. Just this week we noticed her eye was getting another infection. I called the office explaining the situation, and asked if we could pick up the same prescription ointment or should we make an appointment. The person I spoke with said, no we have a refill and they would contact us when it was ready, she did advise it could take up to 48 hours. We were very impressed the same day her medicine was ready to be picked up. The office is not close to us 30 minutes drive, but this is definitely the place for Rose. Thank you. We appreciate your office and your staff. And thank You Dr. Danielle.

I am Switching vets, After the conversation that I had with Jacinda, who apparently is the Manager. The way that she spoke to me, did not calm or reassure me at all. In fact, she spoke to me as if I was an idiot when I was clearly upset. That situation was that I signed up for Care Club with both of my pets and got MINIMAL services on them! when I tried to cancel online, I couldn’t as well as when I called Care Club. They told me that I needed to call Buffalo Ridge and speak to a supervisor or manager in order to cancel. That is when Jacinda spoke to me or should I say spoke down to me asking me in a condescending tone how I thought that the services were paid for on my dogs, which was bloodwork on both and I just signed Rocky up and he got a rabies vaccine and instead of the bloodwork being a normal price of 200 they skyrocket it to $300 dollars! So she calmly tells me that for my one dog it is $400 that I still need to pay and for the other $700 I mean this is crazy to me and I have never dealt with anything like this with any vet and will make sure to never get myself caught up in such a trap again because that is how I feel About this whole situation that they trap people into these debts even when they do almost nothing for your pets. I am extremely disappointed about this whole Situation and I am sure that even when my old 16 year-old dog passes away that they will make me still continue to pay and that shows how uncompassionate they are And are only worried about money!! I Also have heard them arguing on the phone once or twice and I thought it was strange but people can be unreasonable so I ignored it but now I understand why I cannot be the only one upset about this Care Club trap!!! And yes, I understand about the contract but at the same time When you are paying that much money a month I thought it was that basic and simple. I have never went through anything like this before and I’m sure that I’m not the only one that thought this was that clear cut! They should warn people about this before they let people sign up because it is extremely upsetting for someone to be paying This type of money and to feel trapped like this I will never go to another Vca animal hospital!

Staff is kind and caring. Prices are insane unfortunately though. I think vets are all in on something here. The ones that make it affordable are never open normal hours most people would take their pet. The ones open more hours will charge you an arm and leg for those hours. You can't win and neither do the animals. The staff that dealt with me were kind enough to break apart options that most likely were unnecessary. This astill ,$250. They were originally going to charge $400..When I became upset with the prices I was told I could relinquish my cat to someone who could pay it. Really??!! I steady keep saying what can we do.... is when the unnecessary procedures got cut. They must have had a heart for my cat because they were able to help him for half the cost. I dont feel these options would be readily given out to people. I took my cat to my vet for a re check. Found out I litterly paid $250 for kitty ibuprofen, a small can of food and for a fan to be placed on him awhile at this place. Ya, not going back here.

My German Shepherds and my cat are always treated with so much love and kindness here. I love that the exam is so thorough and that they really work with you to find a treatment plan that best fits you/your pet for any issue or just simple routine care. Their love for animals is evident in all that they do to make sure pets feel comfortable, healthy, and happy. A wonderful animal hospital worth the price for the best care possible ❤️

Such a great, knowledgeable, caring and attentive place. I'm so impressed! I couldn't be more happy to bring my little angel here, Pumpkin. They treat her like if she was their own child. They are so wonderful and knowledgeable.
