We switched all 3 of our pets to VCA and couldn’t be happier. The doctors and the staff are caring and compassionate. Whereas our last vet seemed more interested in ringing up the highest bill possible, VCA has been great about suggesting a range of options and not pushing unnecessary tests. We wish we had switched sooner.

I’ve been bringing my dogs here for almost 5 years, and Dr. Alympic has always been amazing. However, when I brought my dog in today for a simple anal gland expression, I was told I needed to pay for a $90.55 wellness exam with Dr. Sherrill in order for the expression to be done. I explained that I only wanted the expression, not an exam, but was told it was required.
A visit that should’ve cost $38 suddenly turned into $128.55. This has never been the policy before, and if it was, it should have been clearly communicated at the time of booking. Not only is this extremely disappointing, but it was also a complete waste of my time coming in for a service that I’ve routinely had done without issue in the past.
To make matters worse, the office visit fee has jumped from $55 to nearly $100 for an exam. Sadly, after years of loyalty, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere.

Only go if you need the free pet exam and you know EXACTLY what you need/want. They will try to scam you on literally everything else. Thought I was finding a vet practice that actually cares about pets but NO another one just out for the money. Took my dogs to get care and establish medicine....unbeknownst to me the vet put them on a prescription I would need to take them back again for. The first month was "only to see if we liked it" so you put my dogs health at risk for what?? To get me to come in again so you can get your appointment $? Absolutely ridiculous. If you try to reach out through the app for help, you get rude messages telling you to call. You call, they are twice as rude and dont help at all, make it seem like you are bothering them. Wish I would have just taken them to a real vet to avoid all this and get them feeling better ASAP. Not jump through hoops for bullshit.
