  I am SO ANGRY right now and devastated because my cat just suddenly died this morning after an appointment at this vet yesterday! Charlotte is a horrible vet who lacks common sense and empathy. My cat was supposed to be examined but Charlotte did NOT listen to my concerns and did not even examine my cat properly. I told her he had lost a tooth and she peeked in for one milliseconds and did not even check for infection. We suspect our beloved cat died from this infection. She did NOTHING to prevent the death of my cat. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT THEM!!!!

  I cannot say enough good things about this practice! The vets and all of the support staff are just amazing. They care about your pets but they are also very reasonable (e.g. if you have older pets and not endless money). They always explain things clearly and present options for care, as well as the costs associated with the different approaches to give you the opportunity to figure out the best path. Thank you all for being so wonderful!

  My cat was very sick. I got an appointment within an hour. I rushed him to the VCA clinic where they examined him right away. Unfortunately he was already giving up so we had to make the hardest decision in our life. The staff and the Vet was very patient and they were with us until the end. They comforted us with empathy and made our last minutes with our baby more acceptable. Letting us know he was no longer in pain. We appreciate VCA on Lockwood Ridge. We will definitely bring our other furry family there.

  We switched all 3 of our pets to VCA and couldn’t be happier. The doctors and the staff are caring and compassionate. Whereas our last vet seemed more interested in ringing up the highest bill possible, VCA has been great about suggesting a range of options and not pushing unnecessary tests. We wish we had switched sooner.

  I’ve been bringing my dogs here for almost 5 years, and Dr. Alympic has always been amazing. However, when I brought my dog in today for a simple anal gland expression, I was told I needed to pay for a $90.55 wellness exam with Dr. Sherrill in order for the expression to be done. I explained that I only wanted the expression, not an exam, but was told it was required. A visit that should’ve cost $38 suddenly turned into $128.55. This has never been the policy before, and if it was, it should have been clearly communicated at the time of booking. Not only is this extremely disappointing, but it was also a complete waste of my time coming in for a service that I’ve routinely had done without issue in the past. To make matters worse, the office visit fee has jumped from $55 to nearly $100 for an exam. Sadly, after years of loyalty, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere.
