    My experience began at home the night before I went to the Sanford store: I attempted to activate my new iPhone at home utilizing the activation instructions provided by Verizon, as the phone along with an iWatch and another iPhone (for my spouse) was ordered online. After 1 attempt on the phone and 2 attempts with the chat option I was unable to get any help, as each time I was disconnected by the Verizon representative---yup, they hung up on me! Needless to say, I was hot tempered when I walked into the Sanford store, because I was supposed to be on the road with my three dogs headed to Pennsylvania for Christmas. My trip was delayed 6 hours due to the mess Verizon created: Verizon included the iWatch (number share with my phone line) and my new iPhone on the same order, which caused the activation not to work. I had to go in the store to verify my identity only to be told we had to contact Verizon activation center on the phone for assistance. I am so thankful that Mayleen Alvarado was there to help. She greeted me with a smile and was eager to resolve the issue for me. While I became irate in the store with the Verizon rep on the phone, with Mayleen, she kept her composure and communicated so very well, providing white glove service. Even after being transferred multiple times Mayleen never displayed frustration. She was able to get to the root of the problem and activate my phone, all while multitasking and assisting other customers while also waiting on the phone for over 3 hours! Thank you, Mayleen! And congrats on your promotion; you deserve it!

    I was with sprint for 15 years and then T-Mobile once they took it over. I made the switch to Verizon this week mainly because of the excellent customer service provided by Amaya and Kevin. These guys got together! They knew the best programs for me and actually cared about saving me money. I had 6 lines to transfer and they made it smooth as I could have ever imagined. They took the stress and anxiety out of switching 6 lines. Amaya showed me exactly what to expect with no problems. The knowledge and support from Amaya and Keven was amazing. They are truly an asset to Verizon. Thank you so much. I appreciate you both.

    I just have to say May is an absolute ANGEL! She was more helpful over the phone than any other Verizon employee in this area. I appreciated her assistance so much. I know it is busy season and everyone is cranky at this point in the holidays. But, May was so kind!! Thank you so much May.

    Jesse was absolutely amazing! After our new phones were stolen and after 7+ hours on the phone with customer service I was beside myself. I went into the store and explained everything to Jesse and he spent time making everything right so my kids would have their Christmas gifts!! Thank you a Jesse and Sanford Verizon Store staff

    Outstanding customer service. There was three people ahead of me when I got there, but I was greeted right away when I walked in and only waited about 10-15min. Both David and Nelmarie were knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I am so thankful for their customer service and will only come to this Verizon location from now on because of them!
