We wasted HOURS of our vacation, yes, like literally at least 8+ hours cumulatively trying to get my sister's phone ported over. It was a freakin' nightmare. The guy who helped us in the store was actually pretty nice, but the other two were problematic. One guy, who was helping a couple get their phone set up read their passwords loud enough that I could hear it all the way across the store and I commented to my sister something along the lines of "Yikes! I wouldn't want everyone hearing my password like that." And another guy who was walking by overheard and said even knowing the password, nobody would be able to hack into their accounts and then went on the mansplain how MFA (multifactor authentication) worked. 🙄 Um ... Okay, that's nice, but it's still really uncool to share someone's password with an entire store full of people. In the end, we got the phone ported over, but it literally took days and several failed attempts. I'm sorry, but that's just ridiculous. Get your act together, Verizon.
