- TGTrevor GreenSep 11, 20251.0Terrible Experience – Do Not Bring Your Pets Here I called VCA Knowles Central Animal Hospital because my dog was panting heavily and clearly in pain. They assured me they would take me right away. I arrived around 6:50 PM and waited about 10 minutes before being taken into a room. That’s when I was told that this location is no longer a full hospital but an urgent care center that closes at 8 PM. They emphasized that they could still handle “all hospital services” as long as patients were seen before 8. I was left waiting in the exam room from 7:00 until 8:30 before the doctor finally came in. After a brief exam, she said my dog needed an X-ray—only to then admit their X-ray services were already closed. I was charged $120 for essentially nothing. The doctor promised medicine, but after another 20-minute wait, staff returned to say they had no medication on site and would instead call in a prescription to the CVS nearby. When I got to CVS, I discovered the prescription had been written incorrectly—in milliliters instead of milligrams—and the pharmacist could not fill it. CVS even tried calling the doctor, but no one answered. After over two hours, a wasted $120, and a sick dog who received zero actual care, I left frustrated and angry. This facility misrepresented what they could provide, wasted precious time, and showed a lack of professionalism and competence. My pet got absolutely no help. Avoid this place at all costs.

I had an emergency with my dog Lucca and we were welcomed and well attended by Allison and by Dr.Moss. I can say that I can see the positive difference with the new management at the location. And will continue to recommend this hospital to whom ever needs it.
- VSValentina SavageSep 1, 20255.0The doctors treated my baby King like he was their cat. during the exam, he was very nervous and the super sweet nurse kept petting him on his head (his favorite) & made him feel so much more comfortable. They also called back to make sure that King is doing better now, I would definitely come back if anything ever happened to my baby again. their slogan on the phone is "VCA where we treat pets like family" and it is sooo true. So happy I decided to come here!

I have been making payments to our account to VCA for many months now and I recently got a call from Allison with horrible disrespect in regards to our bill stating that we needed to pay half of our $5000 bill upfront or it would be sent to collections immediately I was not given an email written statement or anything as this has been my agreement and understanding with VCA since before she was manager, I highly recommend not going to this establishment unless You want to be taken advantage of my experience with this establishment has been great up until new management. Allison came along. I will no longer use this establishment as well as the other rescues that we work with as well. Once again, unless you want to be taken advantage of do not use VCA central Knowles
