But once everything was activated, the bill jumped to almost $400. The “estimated bill” kept changing during the month, and when I contacted Verizon support, no one could explain why the offer this agent gave me was not applied. I was even told different versions of the story by different employees, and nobody took responsibility.** **This feels like a classic bait-and-switch from this particular store and agent — promise a great deal to get you to activate, then leave you with a bill that’s more than double.
