Google should have a negative star....
I'm sorry I gave you a chance, Dr. Dee.
I understand that now more than ever. To anyone looking for a professional, reliable veterinarian -- go anywhere else. This is the last place you should take your pet.
Today's vet is no longer compassionate; he's a businessman. If that's what you want, take your chances. But let's be clear: Didn't all veterinarians go to school and learn the same fundamentals? Apparently not here.
At this clinic, specialization has replaced basic care -- and you'll pay for it. If your pet sees a "specialist," that doctor won't address anything outside their narrow focus. Need something simple? You'll have to book another appointment and pay another consult fee.
Not every pet has a crisis or terminal illness. Yet even basic needs -- nail trims, minor treatments, wellness checks -- are brushed off. That's not medicine; that's profit.
And that's the real tragedy.
Those of us who love and care for animals are being priced out of compassion. Veterinary medicine, once a calling rooted in empathy, has become a business driven by billing. This attitude fuels overpopulation and abandonment -- because too many people simply can't afford the care their pets deserve.
It's heartbreaking to see a once-honorable profession lose its humanity.
A message to VCA Hollywood:
Don't bother responding, Medical Directory, Dr. Harrington. You could have made a difference -- you were trained in the old school, when compassion still mattered. But your eyes are clouded now, and it's easier to dismiss me than to acknowledge the truth.

Took my sick dog to the hospital on November 6. Couldn’t believe they wanted to charge me $5000 to keep my dog overnight on IV and medicine. Said I couldn’t afford it so they came back to me with another price of $3000 to keep her until 8:00 PM. I said I couldn’t afford it. They came back to me with $550 to take her home with the medicine. If they really cared about dogs they wouldn’t charge that insane amount of money to help heal them. Awful experience, will never go there again.

CARE CLUB IS A SCAM.
All of the staff and doctors there are lovely and excellent people, very friendly and patient, but don't get suckered into paying for the care club. It doesn't actually cover anything your pet needs, just annual shots and vaccines and not even all of them. You end up spending more money on the care club then you'd pay out of pocket.
They also don't offer any kind of support if your pet needs surgery of any kind. Nothing is covered, not x-rays, not medicine, nothing. They have no payment plans or anything for surgery either, so you're forced to shell out thousands on top of the almost $100 a month you pat for care club if your pet actually has something seriously wrong.

Dr. Flynn is the absolute best veterinarian!
He has the biggest heart and truly cares for every animal as if they were his own. Dr. Flynn has taken amazing care of both of my pets, Mia and Gamble, and I couldn’t be more grateful. He always takes his time, never rushes through appointments, and makes sure we feel completely comfortable and informed.
His compassion, patience, and genuine love for animals are unmatched. You can tell he’s in this profession because he truly cares — not just about treating pets, but about their happiness and well-being.
It’s rare to find someone so dedicated, kind, and trustworthy. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with Mia and Gamble! If you’re looking for a vet who goes above and beyond, Dr. Flynn is the one.
