I had been bringing my dogs to Dr. Bradley for many years. What initially drew me to her clinic was the personal attention and care she once provided. Over time, however, that level of care has drastically changed. I’ve waited over a year to write this review to ensure it wasn’t driven solely by grief, but by facts and reflection.
Pinky was a rescue with a tough start to life, and we did everything we could to give him the best life possible. At around 12 years old, he began showing signs of distress — vomiting and a swollen stomach — but was still walking and alert. Concerned it might be an obstruction, we brought him to Dr. Bradley. An x-ray showed nothing, but she strongly recommended exploratory surgery just in case something wasn’t visible. Despite no conclusive findings, we trusted her advice — she had cared for Pinky his entire life — and agreed to the procedure, putting aside the financial burden because we wanted to do what was best for him.
Nothing was found during surgery. Afterward, I was told Pinky was groggy but ready to go home. When I arrived, he was unable to stand and had to be carried out on a stretcher. I was told this was normal post-op grogginess and to monitor him overnight. That night was excruciating. He was not improving, and by morning we rushed him back to Dr. Bradley’s office. Again, we were told he’d be monitored and given fluids. Around 1 PM, I received a call advising me to take him to the emergency vet.
When I picked him up, he was unresponsive, again on a stretcher. Within minutes of arriving at the ER, I was told he was in cardiac arrest. They advised euthanasia, saying he was essentially already gone. The ER vet expressed concern that he had been discharged from the prior clinic in such a critical state. They did not charge me for his euthanasia, only for cremation — a stark contrast to the $3,000+ bill I am still paying to Dr. Bradley’s office for a surgery that ultimately led to his decline also charged me to “monitor” him the following day.
I’ll never know if a different decision would have changed the outcome, but I do know that I trusted a long-time vet who did not show the compassion, transparency, or level of care I had come to expect. I carry the weight of this experience every day, and sadly, after more than a decade of loyalty, I can no longer trust this clinic with the care of my pets.

I'm writing a review for this place because I wanted to say that the employees there really do seem like they care about your animal. Compared to some other places they might seem a little more pricey at times but all of the employees have been super nice and super helpful. Even after doing me a couple favors, I mentioned that I have been having to shop around a little bit to see if there's cheaper alternatives and without doing exams, I at least have one place that said they were more than likely able to charge cheaper for something that I needed for my dog.
With that said, I mentioned this to the employees and it didn't phase them at all. They 100% understood and said all that matters is that my dog is getting help that she needs. And that really says a lot because some people would just turn around and say "well why am I doing this for you if you're just going to go somewhere else". Might seem rare but bottom line is there are people like that. You tell them something and all the sudden all those good feelings they had just goes out the door because they might not be making more money from you. I'm terrible with names but so far I've only seen women there and they've all just been super helpful. They all seem happy to be there from my perspective.
Again I wish the procedure I needed was a little cheaper but everything else has been top-notch with the care.
Update: I used voice to text and it was terrible. Made sure to use proper grammar and spelling :p.
Thank you again.

If you love your pets, don't take them there. The worst veterinary service in the town!
Diagnosted my cat in base what I told them. Just a blood test, by the way, in my opinion extremely expensive for being a basic one $265, and they wabted to do the "completeone for $425, anyway, just a blood test and prescribed antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and pain killer.
They ripped me for $900 and just hurt my cat's urethra. They warned me about the ALP and TBIL levels, but never about the WCB... by the way they just can read asterisk (*) in the results.
Dr. Bradley was supposed to be so worried and sent a text message the next day to ask about my cat's progress and ask Dr. Simpson to be in touch because Bradley would be on vacation. Communication was good until I asked how they never noticed the inflammation... after that, no more text messages. That's how professional and committed they are.
What my cat had was an intestinal inflammation! And the pain killer just makes inflammation worse.
Thank God I took my baby to another veterinary that makes x-ray and ultrasound. Then we could find what the problem was. And just charged 1/3 that VCA charged me before for a mediocre consultation.
Don't risk your fur baby's health and your wallet.
