Archie, Mandy, Pooter, Gypsy, Stinker, and Diamond all got great, kind, and effective care. The team feels cohesive with an upbeat vibe. Archie is the only one left, but when he gets a new friend that's where we'll go.

I took my 6 month old German Shepard puppy to Katherine and her team at VCA. Katherine has been taking care of my pets for years and truly understands how important their comfort is to me. She had us come in for a happy visit so that. Brunhilde got comfortable and associated the hospital with happiness, love, and of course treats. Katherine took her time to explain exactly what fear free veterinary care is, as they are a fear free hospital and of course they are certified fear free. Katherine took us around the facility introducing us to her staff. I had attempted to take my pup to another vet hospital for a nail trim, they were not able to do her trim and she left there terrified, and I was very upset. They wanted to fully sedate a puppy and they even had the audacity to tell me that she needed to be better socialized. When I first took my puppy to VCA she was shaking with fear and even urinated on the floor. In no time they had her tail wagging and she was happy going on her tour, the entire staff was fantastic to us. On our second visit Dr. Tisdale took time out of her day to come and meet Brunhilde. On our third visit Brunhilde was pulling me to the door, she was so excited to go and spend time with her new friends. Katherine was able to do her nail trim without issue utilizing fear free practices . Thank you guys, we are grateful. As a side note, They are both AAHA accredited and Fear Free certified. This means that they practice the highest medical care possible. It is evident that they care about animals.

Dr Lowry is amazing with the dogs and speaks clearly and plainly about any issues. However, I am writing this review because of one of the techs that works at VCA. Our 13 lbs foster dachshund, Dexter, was determined not to give a urine sample. After trying for a while he reverted to peeing inside, so we gave up. Georgia at VCA was very patient, realized he was stressed and brought him to walk with his bonded pair (Lilly and me). Lilly went, Dexter went and Georgia got the sample. Problem solved after weeks of trying!
