- LALori Allen6 days ago1.0I guess not all VCA's are alike. I recently moved to the area and have always used VCA's for my dog. I would not recommend this location. I went twice to establish my dog as a patient and they kept me waiting almost an hour both times. I make an appointment for a reason. No one checked in with us or apologized. I had to take time off of work for the appointments so it was very stressful. I also connected with them ahead of time so they could get my dogs records from our other VCA. When I arrived the asked me if the other vet sent the information. How would I know? I would expect them to follow up before my appointment and either contact the vet again or let me know so I can make sure it gets done. Neither was done and they weren't able to do one of the services without that information. I scheduled a second appointment about a month later to go back for the additional services and they wanted to charge me for another check up. My dog just had a check up a month ago - why would we need to do this again. I'm guessing because they gave me a free new patient check up on our first visit, that they just wanted to get their money...which is what it is all about for them. They come in with a full write up of all these recommended services before just doing what we are there for in the first place. I'm guessing this process is why they always run late. Overall the staff is nice but the way they run things is not! Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

I called at 8 am to hopefully get her in sometime that day, and they just had us come right in. Everyone was caring and treated our pup as if she been a patient for years. My husband was in an out in under an hour. Bless each and every one of you!
