- LLLarryAug 6, 20251.0Their new system that zaps the dog without warning is ridiculous and useless. The old system we used to have was warning the dog if he had the idea to cross the property line. I understand that their new wire system is for small yard. Definitely not good for large yards where 6 to 10ft warning zone before zapping the dog isn't an issue. Also, now when you call the Wilton number, you ran into a call center and can't speak to the local office in Wilton. A waste of money and definitely our last experience with this company. We're not letting our dog alone outside in our back yard as we are too afraid, he'll cross the property line to chase a deer or a critter and get lost. Following the response from Invisible Fence social media agent, I should have added to my review that the training was a woke joke. My dog doesn't need therapy sessions. Also a marketing scam to charge you for training sessions. In the past you would walk the boundaries with your dog, show him the flags and get him close so he would hear the beeps, then get zapped once and that was it.
