This was such a negative experience for my dog and me. Over the years, I have been to a number of different Veterinary ERs, depending on where I lived, and never have I had one where we were so unattended to, and where I spent close to $3000, but waited for hours and hours to get an ultrasound, that ultimately proved to be in accurate. We had to get another ultrasound ten days later, at an internist, who found a huge problem in my dog’s small intestine, that had to be operated on. VCA told us that nothing was wrong on the ultrasound at all. Not only was I out the money after going to VCA, but I also had to watch my dog suffer for two weeks longer than was necessary. I would never go back here. Additionally, it seemed disorganized and chaotic, and it was just overall very unpleasant for both my dog and me.

I called for a report of my dog and was told it was gonna cost me 1400$ to achieve that! This was a matter of life or death and "Jean" was very rude and nasty!

Extremely disappointed with the front desk staff, my dog was treated with Addisonian crisis here in April and I unfortunately misplaced my dog’s prednisone to treat her addisonian disease. My primary vet was closed and can’t get me any prednisone until Monday. The staff was so dismissive of me asking for one prednisone pill to hold her over for the weekend. She said l’m more than welcome to bring my dog in if she goes into Addisonian crisis, which can be fatal, and that was the end of it. No care or accommodation whatsoever. She has no business working in the business of caring for sick animals with 0 compassion.

My mom’s mini dachshund, Archie was staying with us and last night he got really sick out of the blue. He was up all night throwing up, etc. so I brought him straight to VCA. Since I don’t have a dog of my own, I had to ask around about where to take him and everyone said VCA. From the moment we got there, everyone was so warm & friendly - from the front desk to the nurses to the doctor. I had to leave Archie there for a few hours while he had tests done and they called me right away to go over everything and when I picked him up, they went over everything with me once again. They took such good care of Archie!
