beware ! Do not use this store ! After a night mare of a time they did not actually refund the phone so now I’m being charged for a phone I don’t have. Waiting to hear from store manager who I’ve been told send random people to work when he doesn’t want to make it in, himself.
I will keep posting until the store manager or someone from Russel cellular corp calls me and fixes this problem.

Not sure who really made the mess up, Verizon or Russell Cellular. I went in to buy a phone, i didnt want to activate it yet, but somehow they disconnected the phone i was using without my permission. I had no service for the entire day and it took 4 hours between the shop and verizon to fix it. then somehow my. moms number got turned off and we both had to spend nearly 8 hours getting our phones reactivated. I returned the phone because it turned out to not be the one i wanted, and have yet to receive a refund on my account.

The awful customer service is going to be the final straw in leaving Verizon after 20+ years. Don't believe them when they say, "your new phone will not make your bill increase." Not only was I repeatedly lied too but it took over three months to straighten out the promotional offer fiasco. My old phone didnt get sent to corporste for weeks and then when it did, it got lost. I finally spoke with a manager who helped (after waiting for three hours in office) and was assured she would contact her district manager about the lies that were told in regards to the promotional offer. I was never contacted by a team member, the manager or district manager. I tried to be polite and patient but lost all hope in this location. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere

This Russel Cellular location charged me a $40 "Setup for Success" fee which was described as the same $40 fee Verizon was charging for upgrading a phone, however these are two separate charges. The store denotes this fee is charged to setup the new device but I completed all setup directly on the phone myself. Upon calling to get the charge reversed or have a credit applied to the screen protector and case I purchased from them, They did not accommodate those requests and were unwilling to reverse the charge. This is misleading and a bad business practice. Upgrade directly with Verizon to avoid an additional $40, and not this third party retailer.
