The staff here was outstanding. Caring, kind and professional. They took the time to explain everything every step of the way and helped me stay calm. I will never go anywhere else for emergency vet care.

Disappointing lack of communication, incorrect doctor notes in between handoffs and poor/conflicting assessments of my dog’s condition. Treated rudely when issues raised at follow-up.

This review has been long overdue and unfortunately it took saying goodbye to my precious baby girl Lucy on 10/8/25 to finally post it. I first met Dr. Scott Hafeman in November 2017 when Lucy first exhibited her signs of thrombocytopenia. She had 0 platelets. I thought I would have to say goodbye to her then. However, Dr. Hafeman saved her. I remember that he even went in on Thanksgiving to check on her when he didn't have to. From that point on, Lucy saw Dr. Hafeman every 6 months for her CBC recheck. Although those appointments were highly stressful due to not knowing where her platelet count stood, it was always very comforting to see Dr. Hafeman because he truly cared about my Lucy and her well being. She started declining last year when we discovered that she had a brain tumor. Dr. Hafeman has gone above and beyond by being there for us and always willing to answer questions no matter the time or day. He has not only been the best veterinarian ("yoda best vet"), but overall such a great friend throughout this entire journey. When it was time to say goodbye, Dr. Hafeman ensured that our needs were met. He provided a comforting atmosphere for the absolute worst day of my life. I cannot thank Dr. Hafeman enough. I don't know where we'd be if it weren't for him. We have been so blessed to know such an amazing person with the biggest heart. His kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything Dr. Hafeman. We owe you so much.

It's an emergency vet clinic. The increased cost is to be expected. We came here one night when my dog started having severe bloody diarrhea. The vet was incredible, the staff were caring and understanding. I feel like the vet actually took the time to sit down with me and explain everything (we may have been the only ones there at the time, but still!) He explained his rationale for testing and labs, what was definitely necessary and what I had my option of choosing on. We thought there might have been a possibility of poisoning. The vet said I could call this place for something (I can't remember exactly) or he could. But if he did, it would be more expensive. I love that he gave me the option to choose to save cost. In the end my dog had hemorrhagic diarrhea from getting into a box of treats. I would 100% trained recommend this place.

2 stars & I’m rating the place & experience as a whole. My kitty was diagnosed with cancer - a more in depth ultrasound was needed to see where to see if chemo was potentially an option. It ended up not being one. My kitty was acting completely normal except throwing up occasionally. The ultrasound specialist was insanely late. Meant to be there at 3:30 - he got prepped at 3:00 & I waited & watched for her to show up outside not until 5:30. His body could NOT handle that & was not what I was told. 10 days later my kitty died - I watched him deteriorate AGGRESSIVELY way way more than before that ultrasound. He was going to pass but he certainly had more than 10 days without that experience. I got my soul cat ripped away from you all. And the front desk was insanely rude to me as I asked for his medicine refills as if I was such an inconvenience to them for taking care of my cat. I promptly paid my bill in full each time right there. My family didn’t deserve this </3 the Doctor was nice but ultimately we didn’t end up working together that much & I truly will always believe that ultrasound specialists negligence took off time my kitty would’ve had otherwise. And to be clear - no risk of further decline with an ultrasound was disclosed to me at all other than the usual sedation if you want CPR , etc. very very different. My heart and soul are broken. Would only give 1 star if the doctor had not been nice.
