- AOAlyssa OrtegaAug 21, 20251.0Called around 12:30 pm this afternoon simply asking if they had an exotic animal doctor at the clinic today as our rabbit is definitely nearing the end and we want him to pass peacefully. Barely got 3 sentences in (just the basics to explain the severity of the situation) and the receptionist repeatedly kept raising her voice to cut me off and rudely let me know they weren’t in until Monday. Understandable but thankfully, Windsor VCA is able to get us in later today to presumably help our little friend cross the rainbow bridge and their receptionist was wonderful. If the receptionist at this location is that obviously miserable over the phone, I couldn’t imagine interacting with them during the checkout process in person after a very hard and sensitive event like that. I’m sure the vets here are great as most VCAs I’ve been to are but whoever I spoke to over the phone is not equipped with the compassion or care to be in this profession.

Making me use their app to get invoices rather than print them or email them, and then the app is so flawed and broken and the support team doesn't respond at all to requests for assistance. Staff that was once kind and patient is short and difficult, I presume because the change in approach and management makes it harder for them to solve problems.
