They found an oral mass but nobody mentioned that it was cancer or that it needed to be removed. A biopsy would have helped but was never recommended. It was cancer and my dog died.

We lost our Quinn sadly due to someone poisoned her. My wife rushed her here for medical attention and everyone here was absolutely amazing. I stayed home with our other dog Brandy. When I got the phone call that Quinn passed, they allowed us to all say goodbye in a private environment. My wife, myself and our brandy all felt so comfortable in our time of tragedy. Thank you all who work here and bless you with all our hearts!

VCA took the BEST care of us and our cat, I am completely over the moon with how amazing our emergency visit went. We had to take our kitty in on NYE evening, and while it is not an ideal situation to be in, they made the experience as stress-free and compassionate as possible. They quoted us a wait time of 8ish hours, which in my experience is pretty average for an ER. After 10 minutes or so, they took us back to get vitals done and hold onto our kitty while they discussed treatment options. Both the assisting technician and primary doctor were incredibly kind and understanding, and laid out very transparent and varied pricing for different procedures. We ended up opting for the lower range and less intensive exam, which was quoted at about $1300-$1500. We completely understood, and while a bit steep, is again average for what needed to be done. To our surprise (and delight) they told us they would hang onto our cat and give him some mild sedatives while he waited to be seen. They gave us some good food recommendations near by, and let us know they’d give us a call when he was ready. Once again, to our absolute surprise, they gave us a call THREE HOURS later that it was a successful procedure and he was all ready to go! We rushed to get him and they had us settle up our bill. The total? $420. I nearly broke down in tears on the spot, I sincerely was not expecting the cost to be so low. Every single staff member from the receptionists, assistants/residents, and doctors were SO nice despite working in what I imagine is a high-intensity and stressful work environment. Our cat is almost back to full health less than 48 hours later, and the weight has been lifted off of our chests. I cannot thank the heroes that work here enough for everything they do.

I come here very often to get special food for my cat. It is prescribed food. He was diagnosed at this hospital and I’ve never had an issue getting his food before until today. They ran out and would not give me a prescription to get it else where. They wanted me to bring him back to diagnose him once again. And pay 300$ out of pocket to do that. He cannot eat normal food. He will get sick. and when I asked what other options I had they said they couldn’t help me. Mind you we come here once a month! Worst customer service everrrrrr!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. The vet we had was incredibly rude when we asked to please take our dog home. She presented a projected cost for overnight fees. It was nearly $4,000. As I was sitting there crying after she MISDIAGNOSED our dog, pushing to force an overnight stay (when it was already 2:30 am), she got NASTY and said then you need to sign a release and it’s not on my advisement! You leave on your own choice. I do not recommend this, on and on and on. As if it’s not enough sitting there holding your pet and kissing her/him for dear life. Our dog had eaten something that did make her sick. However the vet said she was certain it was a tumor and cancer. She also stated she “was a vet long enough with education to support what she said was a lethal end. I have the documents she sent home with us - so yes we have “receipts”. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Protect your precious pet and your pocketbook. Terrible, terrible service.
