Most probably ran by employees who do not care enough!! 1- our dog developed life threatening situation- this place said they are unavailable for next 4 days due to staff unavailability!! We have been their client for years! 2- we usually wait for 20-30 mins to see doctor. We were late for 11 minutes and rude client coordinator cancelled our appointment and said too late- not acceptable!! Their previous app was no show- sh they were free. They cancelled us- so again free. They don’t mind losing business that way- employee run program with no real accountability.

I’m writing this with a heavy heart. I brought my dog, Cody, to Pinnacle for a procedure that required sedation. Tragically, Cody did not survive. This has been one of the most devastating experiences of my life. Cody wasn’t just a pet, he was my soulmate. Due to severe childhood trauma, I’ve always struggled to feel safe in human relationships. Animals have been my sanctuary, and Cody was the one who soothed my soul. He was my constant, my comfort, and my emotional anchor. What made this loss even more painful was how the clinic handled the aftermath. I was rushed through the grieving process and only allowed to hold Cody for 15 minutes after he passed. I could have held him for hours. That time was sacred to me, and I’ll never get it back. To make matters worse, the clinic was quick to ask for my credit card, even while I was still in shock. They also made decisions about Cody’s urn and after-death arrangements without consulting me properly; choices that were deeply personal and should never have been made without my input. I later learned that the clinic failed to follow their own corporate screening protocols before sedating Cody. This raises serious concerns about their standards of care and accountability. While I understand that medical procedures carry risks, I feel that I was not adequately informed or supported. I trusted the clinic with Cody’s life, and I’m left with grief, unanswered questions, and a sense of betrayal. I hope the clinic takes this incident seriously and reviews its protocols—not just for medical safety, but for how they treat grieving pet owners. We deserve transparency, compassion, and dignity when saying goodbye to those we love most.

I have been bringing my German Shepherd to Pinnacle since she was just 3 months old. She is now older (almost 12), with failing hind legs, and like many shepherds, she experiences high anxiety at the vet. Despite this, she has never bitten, snapped, or harmed anyone -- even without sedation -- in all her years of care here. At our last visit, the clinic falsely noted that we had given her anti-anxiety medication, which we had not. She was anxious, but no muzzle was needed and the staff were able to give her injections and complete her exam without issue. This most recent visit was simply for another quick injection -- something that would take literally seconds -- yet we were told we could not proceed without her being on medication for two days beforehand. Amanda, the staff member we dealt with, claimed my gsd was aggressive, snarled and growled so she needed to prioritize her staff's safety. I don't know where she got this information but it certainly wasn't in the notes and having attended every appointment with Millie I KNOW that my pet has never been aggressive to the technicians or the vets. While I understand safety is important, this reasoning is hard to accept given my dog's long history here without any incidents. If Amanda doesn't know the difference between aggressiveness and anxiety she shouldn't be working there!! Amanda decided to be a hard hat and showed zero compassion. We have never been turned away before by the staff. There was no apology or willingness to listen to my perspective as the owner. My dog desperately needed this injection for her deteriorating legs, but Pinnacle refused to provide it. In addition, since being acquired by VCA, the clinic has also become significantly more expensive and increasingly focused on selling as many additional services as possible -- whether or not they are truly necessary. This experience has left me feeling the clinic is no longer a welcome place, staff are rude they do not truly care for the pets in their care or respect the owners who know them best. All they care about is making as much money from the owners as possible. After years of loyalty, they did not return the same. I will not be returning.

Dr Park is very gentle with my cats, and listens carefully to what I say. My cats are in good hands with her.
