Poor Customer Service Experience at Elk Grove
Delta Shore Store
Dear Verizon Team,
I recently visited the Verizon store at Elk Grove Delta Shore, and unfortunately, I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. The customer service representative, Rebecca, was not helpful in addressing my concerns. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, Mr. Rob, I was denied assistance from another associate as per his instructions.
Extremely disrespect and bad customer service
I hope you can look into this matter and ensure that customers receive better support in the future.
Sincerely,
Raiz ahmad

My family and I (3 of us) just bought new phones. We wanted to make sure that everything transferred from our old phones to our new phones correctly, so we decided to go to the store for assistance. We had read the reviews on this location and were hesitant on going there, but it was the closest store and we had agreed to turn in our old phones at this location.
It wasn't busy when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe two other customers being helped. When we got in, we were greeted by someone at the front. We told him we just wanted to make sure we were transferring everything correctly. He told us that would be a $30 charge per phone because we're "paying for their time" to help do it. What? We had already paid the activation fee up front when we bought the phones. He continued by telling us that most people just use the Smart Switch app, which we were aware of but, again, just wanted to make sure we were doing everything correctly. He continued with, "Honestly, us doing it for you, I think, is a waste of money. I mean, we can do it for you if you want, but most just do it at home with the app." I think he thought he was being helpful in saving us money, but came off as not wanting to help us at all with his tone and gestures, almost like waving us away. So my brother asked if it would be okay if we started the switch there in store and, if we had any trouble, we could ask them for help, to which he replied, "I gotta bench." Okay...
So we go to said bench and start the process on our own without realizing how long it would actually take (over their weak wifi). We sit there patiently for over an hour watching our phones transfer, watching several workers walking around aimlessly or just standing around looking at their own phones. Twice I overheard the person that greeted us on personal calls. Not a single one of their 6-8 workers on the floor come to check on us during that whole time. NOT ONE. Nobody even looks in our direction. Honestly, all the workers there made us feel like we weren't allowed to make contact with them unless we paid for every second of their time.
In the end, we end up so frustrated with the slowness of the transfer that we leave in the middle of it and simply walk out. We end up getting the transfer done quickly at home, but thought about what a waste of time it was going to the store in person. Well, it wasn't a total waste, because I used that hour and a half sitting on that bench thinking up this review.
