Never thought I'd say "I miss the days where customer service mattered" but here we are. We walked in and no one greeted us, the phone we were looking for wasn't working for us to try out and no one cared to fix it. Clearly uninterested in making a sale.

First of all for those who have given a bad review, what's the problem? You are upset because you were not greeted with strawberries and champagne? These are hard working people and clearly those who gave bad reviews have no idea what hard work means. Having said that, I want to recognize each staff member I interacted with starting with my salesperson Priscilla. Priscilla, you are amazing. I had no intention of buying a phone but instead of selling me, you showed me some things that sounded sensible and great. I decided to go with it and purchase the iphone air. Priscilla should be an envy of other salespeople. So gentle, so polite, so professional yet personable. Did each and every thing she said she would 100%. Not one single complaint can I come up with. As far as management, Julie wow is all I have to say and (forgive any misspells, Meena, Naema, Julie and Priscilla are who I interacted with. One other person but I didn't get her name. She appeared to be of islander possibly filipina decent. I did have a bad experience at that store years ago but the experience now? WOW WOW WOW! I will refer anyone confidently to Priscilla without hesitation. Hopefully you get some recognition from upstairs as in most companies, they just sit there, give orders and have no idea what it is like to be in the trenches like these wonderful people. I challenge you to do what they do for just one single day. You never will though. Give these people some raises, some recognition etc. Thank you and I can go on and on but I'll stop right here :) I think whoever reads this will get my drift.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent attempt to upgrade to a new phone. The representative assisting me took over an hour to place the order, only to inform me at the end that the wrong phone had been ordered. I was then told that nothing could be done to correct the mistake because the account was not accessible due to the representative’s error. Even manager didn’t offer any help Worst Verizon store in the Bay Area. I wish I could rate lower than 1 star.

Let me set the scene.
It was a Tuesday, but one of those Tuesdays that feels like a Thursday pretending to be a Monday. My phone was on 4% battery, my patience was on 2%, and my current carrier had been gaslighting me for weeks with dropped calls and “Have you tried restarting your phone?” nonsense. I decided it was time. Time to switch. Time to begin anew. Time to start fresh with a network that didn’t treat me like a side quest.
I walked into the Verizon store prepared for battle. I expected chaos. I expected confusion. I expected the emotional equivalent of assembling IKEA furniture blindfolded.
Instead…
I met John.
Now, let me tell you something about Store Manager John. This man did not walk over to me — no. He glided, like a customer-service angel sent from the heavens of 5G. His smile was calm, warm, and suspiciously confident, like he knew he was about to fix every mistake I had made in my wireless life.
“Welcome in! What brings you to Verizon today?” he asked.
Oh, John. Sweet, innocent John.
Little did he know I was about to unload the full trauma of my previous carrier like I was at a wireless therapy session.
I explained my situation. My frustrations. My questions. My unrealistic expectations. My deeply dramatic fears about switching. And through it all, John listened like a man who had been training for this moment his entire career. Not once did he blink. Not once did he sigh. Not once did he look at the clock and contemplate quitting.
He simply nodded and said the most reassuring sentence I have ever heard in a phone store:
“We can absolutely help with that.”
And then he DID.
John broke down every plan like he was narrating a documentary on the History Channel.
He showed me phone options like Vanna White showcasing prizes on Wheel of Fortune.
He made switching sound so easy I expected confetti cannons to go off when we finished.
He even transferred my data without judging the 11,000 screenshots I apparently take every year.
Not once — let me repeat, NOT ONCE — did he try to upsell me on something absurd like a $48 titanium phone case “in case I decide to rock climb with no harness.”
No. John kept it real. John kept it simple. John kept it honest.
This man deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for wireless diplomacy.
By the end of the visit, I was holding my new phone, fully switched over, fully set up, and fully impressed. I half expected John to bow or high-five me on the way out, but instead he just gave the nod of a man who knows he has delivered excellence.
So here it is:
If you are thinking of switching to Verizon, go to this store, walk straight up to John, and let him change your life.
10/10.
Five stars.
Two thumbs up.
Would switch again even if I didn’t need to.
John, you legend.
Thanks for making wireless feel like a luxury spa day instead of a stressful root canal.

This review is directly to the "Business" account rep "Sajjad Ahmad Salak. I was in need of a new carrier for my business and this sales rep took advantage of that and transferred my cell services over, ignoring the fact all my current iPhones were with T-Mobile and their technology is not compatible with Verizon. So, not only did this person ignore the information I provided him, costed my business thousands of dollars in downtime, but also started to ignore my phone calls and emails when I reached out to him in regards to a phone bill I received from Verizon for a day worth of services. SHAME on this kind of sales rep, people like him ruin companies name. I think he should be fired from this position so he is not cable of damaging other businesses or even Verizon itself like this.
