Run and his from this place!!! They're only intention is to pluck you off your money. They'll quote you a price, and lie about that. I found them injecting expired medicine, and while I was there that action caused a dog to die. As I watched, they proceeded to them berate the owner to the tune of $1,500 dollars to cover their expenses. Even after they admitted the mistake, and the vet doctor along with the administration ladies told him to dig up a credit card, prior to digging a grave in the desert for his pet! Un-freaking believable, right!

Business and profits first. Profits second. Pets at the bottom of the list. We were clients here and our dog was suddenly very ill. They would not work us in. I called another vet in town (Pet Lux) and although we weren’t clients they got us in immediately. Friends who were also clients here had their senior dog take a sudden bad turn and needed to be euthanized for humane reasons. They told him they couldn’t get him in for a month. A month. He was supposed to watch his dog suffer for a month. He too called another vet in town and was seen same day.
Update. After I posted this review VCA called me to talk to me about it. They could not bother to see my pet or others’ pets but they want me to take my time to talk about my review. I cannot believe how absolutely gross this is. Gross. Corporate Run Vet practices are destroying pet care.

I would give this place no stars if that was a rating. After being a loyal customer for over 15 years and spending major money with various pets though the years I move back to the desert after being away for 8 years. I immediately called to re-establish services for my animals. The first time I called to set up an appointment for shots I was told I’d be called back and never was. The second time I called to set up grooming they said they’d check with the groomer and get right back. They never did! The 3rd time I called was an emergency with my 14 year old Yorkie who was once a patient and since they were only 3 minutes away I was for sure they’ed squeeze him in but no the vet were full. What is wrong with this valley? Only one emergency vet clinic for all of Coachella! And VCA is the worse, especially Palm Springs! I find them to be uncaring, unprofessional, no empathy, basically a piss poor excuse for a pet clinic. Highly inhumane. So I will never take an animal there again. I find Palm Springs Animal Hospital at least more accommodating but still not on par with Orange County. It’s a sad state for this valley’s animals if that’s the only kind of care available. I wish I would have checked this out before moving here. VCA Palm Springs is the absolute worse kind of veterinary care since they are so uncaring and removed from suffering.
