Business and profits first. Profits second. Pets at the bottom of the list. We were clients here and our dog was suddenly very ill. They would not work us in. I called another vet in town (Pet Lux) and although we weren’t clients they got us in immediately. Friends who were also clients here had their senior dog take a sudden bad turn and needed to be euthanized for humane reasons. They told him they couldn’t get him in for a month. A month. He was supposed to watch his dog suffer for a month. He too called another vet in town and was seen same day.
Update. After I posted this review VCA called me to talk to me about it. They could not bother to see my pet or others’ pets but they want me to take my time to talk about my review. I cannot believe how absolutely gross this is. Gross. Corporate Run Vet practices are destroying pet care.

This vet is criminally understaffed. Good luck trying to make an appointment online. They are booked 3 months out but when I went into the office there was no one there. The ONE doctor they have is bouncing between here and another location.
Every call I heard the receptionist answer was her referring patients to other clinics.
I took the hint and took my dog elsewhere. AVOID.

I’m heartbroken about the terrible service I received here because I really wanted this to be my local vet. I can tell now the doctor who works here is extremely overworked and stressed. I got charged multiple hundred dollars to speak to the doctor for less than 15 seconds. The majority of the visit was spent trying to upsell me on healthcare plans and vaccinations.
I ended up having to take my dog to another clinic outside of town and got her issue resolved because the doctor there actually listened to me and answered my questions.
I understand these big chain places are set up to “turn and burn” patients but if you aren’t even offering good healthcare then why be open?

I took my dog because he had nausea at 330 pm, The Hours said they were open until 5pm. There were no other Customers waiting and they were putting the chairs up on the couches like they were getting ready to Close. The guy at the desk completely ignored us when we walked in. The girl said that they were very short staffed. I just moved to Palm Springs and looking for a Vet but this will not be the place I bring my dogs. I don’t want to come to a place that doesn’t staff to care for your dog. Why are they even open. They don’t care about Animals, they referred us to a place in Palm Desert a 25 minute ride.
