- MZMax ZingerDec 21, 20251.0They tried to scam me…told me I needed extensive work even though everything was working fine. The technician shut off the gas line to one of my furnaces and flipped the switch to off on the gas valve (inside the unit) of the second furnace. He did this without informing me and left them that way after leaving. I only noticed the main floor furnace not working (don’t use other one as much and it was summer) so I called them and the guy said he shut off the gas valve for my safety and didn’t mention the other furnace. I got the valve turned on and everything’s fine. Well a couple months later I notice the other furnace is not working now. Called them again and they said I waited too long and that they can’t help me. Had to hire another company to check It out and they said someone had turned off the valve inside the furnace. A little on - off switch. I don’t trust these guys I fell for the $29 furnace tune up offer and hired this company to come “tune-up” my two furnaces. The guy who came out said that both of my units had issues and that the whole system needed extensive work and replacement even though everything was working fine. I told him I’ll think about it. This was in the summer and I wasn’t using the furnace very much but about a week later I went to turn on the main one and it wasn’t working all of a sudden.
