    This situation went from frustrating to completely unacceptable. I placed my order on the 12th and was told multiple times over the phone that my phone was ready for in-store pickup. I went to the store within the required timeframe. The employee who assisted me, Julio, initially brought out the wrong order. When I asked if my phone was actually there, he repeatedly said he “thought” it might be instead of giving a clear answer. Julio then sat at the computer without explaining what he was doing, which led me to believe he was checking on my order. He later stated he was actually working on another customer’s order. When I finally asked directly whether my phone was there or not, he said no. After leaving the store, I called Verizon again. The representative still showed my order as “ready” on her end and even called the store herself. The store confirmed they did not have the phone. I was given no estimated availability, no explanation, and no follow-up. Now, today, I received an email saying my order was cancelled because I didn’t pick it up within 72 hours, which is completely false. I did go to the store to pick it up — Verizon simply failed to have the device available despite telling me it was ready. Because of this error, my billing cycle with my previous carrier ended on the 14th. Since my phone was never ready, I am now forced to pay an extra month with my old carrier AND another month with Verizon due entirely to Verizon’s miscommunication and in-store handling. This is unacceptable. Customers should not lose money because Verizon’s systems and store communication don’t align. This needs escalation and correction.
