It is with great gratitude that I write this feedback to what has proven to be the best team of healthcare individuals for my beloved 13-year-old mini schnauzer; Dr Jones. After taking him to his previous regular vet that had seen him his entire life, during a health crisis back in December of 2025, he simply stated that there was nothing he could do and that I should consider the “alternative” as opposed in helping him survive this crisis. I am so glad I didn’t listen to him and came to VCA ChatOak where they immediately took my boy, examined and treated him for what turned out to be a Diabetic Ketoacidosis that they quickly were able to diagnose and provide treatment for. First treated by Dr Gouldburn who initially identified the problem, and followed by Dr Srinath, who is now my pet’s primary doctor, demonstrated their invaluable talent, ability and compassion in caring for him, to which my wife and I are forever in their debt for giving our pet a second chance in life. Dr Srinath, along with her team of extremely skilled and caring techs, convalesced my very delicate boy to an almost full recovery and keep providing the treatment that he needs to thrive and continue living life comfortably. Dr Srinath’s love of her profession undoubtedly incarnates what any pet lover wishes to see in their pet’s healthcare provider, and we could not be more appreciative of her and her team’s excellent service. Thank you Dr Srinath, VT Nicole and everyone at Chatoak for your wonderful assistance. Luis A.

am writing to express a concern regarding an incident that occurred during a veterinary appointment for my dog. I would like to clarify that the veterinarian herself was very respectful, professional, and kind at all times. My concern is specifically regarding the conduct of one of the veterinary assistants. There was a misunderstanding about my appointment time, and instead of respectfully trying to help or checking whether the doctor might be able to assist, the veterinary assistant told me that I had to leave and schedule another appointment. The manner in which this was said was disrespectful and dismissive. I felt uncomfortable and judged, especially as other staff members were watching, which created an intimidating situation. I was not asking for anything inappropriate—only guidance and courtesy regarding the scheduling confusion. I believe clients and their pets should always be treated with respect and professionalism. I hope this matter is reviewed so that patient and client care can continue to reflect the high standards demonstrated by the veterinarian.

My dog Indi has IMHA and so unfortunately we’re frequent fliers here. Every single person in this office, from the vets, to the front office staff, is exceptionally kind and goes out of their way to make us feel comfortable and to keep my dog alive. Despite all of the scary stuff that has happened to my dog, he genuinely seems to understand that everyone here cares about him and helps him. So even when he feels terrible, he still has a little butt wiggle when we go in. Rather than feeling scared, he trusts them to make him feel better. I cannot thank them enough for their outstanding care.

Thank you, VCA, for always taking excellent care of our Checkers. ❤️🐶 All her doctors and vet techs have always been wonderful with Checkers. We always leave VCA feeling relieved and at peace of mind after every visit. Kudos to Dr. R. Florio last night for going above and beyond what we had initially sought and promptly calling us with the results before she left her shift. We truly appreciate your exceptional care, Doctor.

We live in LA but anytime we have a critical pet situation, we have gone to VCA Chatoak. This was our second time visiting after spending an insane amount of money and time at another vet to try and diagnose and care for our Rhodeshian Ridgeback Penny. Once we visited VCA Chatoak, Dr. Srinath worked tirelessly to try and help us diagnose Penny, she would call everyday, even after hours from her cell and wrote us the kindest hand written letter when she found out we had to put Penny down. There are not enough words to thank her and the staff at VCA for everything they did in trying to help. Thank you.
