Zachary and Faisal provided exceptional customer service when I purchased my new Google Pixel 10 Pro XL today. Zachary went above and beyond transferring over all data and pictures over to my new phone and made sure all my settings were set up coretly and that I knew where to access everything before leaving the store. The Verizon store in Danville is a one stop store. Thanks guys! A very happy customer, Elycia LaRoyche

I spent two hours at this location just to drop off two old phones for a trade-in — a process that took five minutes once it finally started. I already had my new phones; I literally just needed to hand over the old ones. At the end the employee who helped me apologized for the wait and said they can’t leave one customer to help another. But the customer ahead of me was in a long, mostly silent transaction where the associate was waiting on systems to process things about 85% of the time. In that situation, it would have been completely reasonable to quickly complete my trade-in simultaneously. This wasn’t an isolated experience. It was the third lengthy visit in this whole process: • First visit: waited an hour just to confirm eligibility and trade-in value, plus another 30 minutes to order the phones. • Second visit (with an appointment): about 1.5 hours to set up the new phones — understandable. • Third visit: two more hours just to turn in our old phones. We also had to call Verizon customer service separately at home for 30–45 minutes to cancel a jetpack the store said they couldn’t remove. So altogether, a 5.5 hour process, with 3.5 of those hours spent strictly waiting (and not being able to handle everything in store). During my second visit, associates were helping multiple customers in a reasonable flow while helping me, so it’s unclear why that flexibility didn’t apply this time. For additional context, I’m 28 weeks pregnant and had my two-year-old with me. He’s very well-behaved, but standing around for two hours waiting for a simple five-minute drop-off made the lack of flexibility even harder to understand. The mostly idle transaction ahead of me wouldn’t have been interrupted. What’s even more concerning is overhearing an associate on the phone saying he had been helping one customer for three hours waiting for corporate support. If store staff need corporate assistance that takes that long, that’s a larger Verizon issue — but then the store needs a system for handling other customers in the meantime. People walked in, waited, and left because the queue simply didn’t move. After I had been waiting almost an hour, they suggested I leave my phones and do the trade-in process by phone later, but that felt too risky given the $2,000 credit at stake. I needed to be present to confirm which phone was which and ensure the transaction was completed correctly. They also suggested I leave and come back later, but that didn’t make sense — if they couldn’t multitask now, coming back would only mean waiting again behind someone else. It didn’t solve the underlying issue. I’ve had AT&T and T-Mobile before, and honestly never experienced this level of inefficiency. We switched to Verizon due to my husband’s previous job, and now with the trade-ins we’re tied in for a while. For future support, I’ll definitely go to the San Ramon Verizon location instead — they’ve been much more efficient in the past. I wish we had started there from the beginning!!!

Came in not sure if I had enough time to get up with a new phone, but Monica made sure to answer all of my questions, and got me set up with a new phone, she is seriously fabulous, and so sweet to talk to! I had stopped by the Walnut Creek Verizon recently to ask a few questions but I’m so glad I ended up coming here instead! Super positive experience, and Monica I can not thank you enough, girl you are fabulous!
