We brought in our cat due to suspected FIP. The staff took such great care of our cat, and we can't recommend this hospital enough. Throughout the process, we never felt judged or pressured into anything that we weren't comfortable with. We felt that the treatment plan for our cat was very well thought out. Our cat is already doing so much better, and it's all thanks to VCA!

This is a group of wonderful, caring and compassionate people. We’ve been bringing our precious bullmastiff, Sasha, here for the last couple of weeks for palliative radiation treatments and they’ve been nothing but kind and helpful to us. Our pup loves coming here to see everyone despite what she’s going through, so it eases my mind knowing she’s in excellent hands. Thank you so much.
Edit: added a picture showing Sasha. The lovely staff threw a little graduation, celebrating the completion of our girl’s radiation treatments. So heartwarming!

There aren’t enough stars in the sky to rate the VCA in Carlsbad. It is an incredible organization of amazingly talented Drs and nurses, who treat all of the animals (and the families that come with them), with not only extraordinary medical expertise; but with sincere care and compassion.
Our six year old shepherd just went through radiation treatments for a tumor on her heart and we brought her home today with absolutely no side effects from the treatment, and a prognosis as good as it can be at this point. Everyone at this VCA truly understands what the families of every animal in their care is going through and they were all so kind and compassionate. Our sincere thank you to everyone who treated and cared for sweet Jessie. We know she won’t be too upset when she goes back for her checkups…..💕🐾🐾🐾💕

This place is such a waste of money and time. Each time I’ve gone for my pup I’ve been told he has the same exact issue and everytime they manage to rack up the price just for them to tell me the exact same thing. And what do you know, nothing they’ve done for him, nothing has helped I take him home and he’s no better. They fill the place with smiles but make you wait at least an hour just to tell you “someone will be in shortly” another hour passes, in for 5 minutes max then we wait another hour to hear something etc ( I was waiting for 6 hours) on top of that while in the waiting room you can hear how the front desk speaks about a patient behind their back. This place is a scam.
