    This review has nothing to do with the Payson store. It is about Verizon as a company. My phone recently quit - there was a hardware issue and it would not connect to cellular. I have the protection plan so I called Verizon and, after jumping through several hoops, was told that they were making an appointment for me that same day with UBreakIFix. It was a 100 mile drive for me but I needed my phone fixed. I showed up and UBreakIFix had no record of an appointment. I called Verizon again and was told by someone different that I had to go to an Apple store. However, none of the stores nearby had an appointment open that day. I then spoke with a supervisor who apologized profusely and wanted to send me a refurbished replacement phone at a cost of $50. I told her I wasn't willing to pay for someone else's ex-problem phone and they told me they were going to transfer me to someone that could authorize a new phone. After yet another discussion (I was on the phone about 1.5 hours at this point) I was told that I would be receiving a NEW phone at no cost. I specifically confirmed that this would be a NEW phone, not refurbished. Well, guess what?? I got a "Certified Like-New Replacement" phone and a statement for $54.13. After almost 20 years as a customer, I guess I expected more. I guess it's time to move on to a different carrier.

    I had a great experience at this Verizon store. Brett was incredibly helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions and address every concern I had. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend working with Brett if you visit this location!

    I want to make it very clear who this review is for. This review is for Verizon! Not the people inside the store. The people inside this store are totally awesome and kind. The people in the store are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. This review is to warn you about verizons dark side. It all starts with you getting insurance on your phone if its dropped, damaged or stolen. Anyways. I drop my phone and I have the insurance on it. I go into the Verizon and am told that I have to put a claim in on the website. And that I need to pay 99.00 on top of what I already pay for insurance every month. And I did put a claim in and pay the 99.00. Within two days my new phone had arrived. But wait, it's not a new phone! ITS A REFURBISHED PHONE! And the refurbished phone I got had damage straight out of the package. I wouldn't mind the refurbished phone if it came with no damage like they had promised. They promised perfect screen with no scratches. But there is many scratches and even a ding in the top right corner of the screen. So I walk into verizon with my replacement phone that I had just received with damage and told the employees about it. The employee said I would have to call the number for them to send out another. So I called them. I spent almost all day with them on the phone with them asking the same questions over and over and over. They transferred me so many times for no reason and every time I would have to repeat what I said to the last person. And finally we found someone that actually wanted to help us, kind of. Anyways. They finally say they can send out another replacement for the replacement that was damaged upon arrival. But guess what! THEY WANT ANOTHER 99.00 FOR THE EXTRA REPLACEMENT PHONE! So we pay it and they say they'll refund it and that it'll take about 5 days for the refund so thats good. Now all I have to do is wait for the replacement device to replace the curent replacement device I have. Then I have to ship out the 2 phones to them. Then I'm hoping that'll be the last time that I have to contact them. I'll update this review with new information like if we get out 99.00 dolars back like they said we would. DO NOT GET THE INSURANCE ON YOUR PHONE! IT IS NOT WORTH THE PAIN AND TIME IT'LL TAKE TO REPLACE IT! And I did the math on it. I've almost had the phone for three years already. And the total for three years is 720.00 if its 20 dollars a month for insurance. It would be better and cheaper to just have the screen replaced at a third party. It would only cost 300 to replace the screen at a third party. I checked. And that 720.00 doesn't even includ the extra 99.00 dollars they add on top of it to get the replacement device. Oh, also if you want to get a thousand off your phone or whatever when they talk you into uprading your plan I also did the math on that. If you upgraded your plan from a basic to a higher plan it'll cost the same price or more for the phone at the end of the three years. Thanks verizon for causing me so much stress 😀 Update for 12/16/25 Verizons responded to this review and I reached out to the email. Guess what, they didn't help. Thanks verizon for wasting my time. My problem remains unresolved. Update for 12/18/25 Finally got a replacement for the replacement phone in like new condition like I was supposed to get the first time. I'll be shipping the other two phones out soon sometime and will be waiting for the 99 dollars they said they would refund. I'm still gonna leave the 1 star review considering how hard you made everything for me. Also I forgot to mention when I was having a hard time with you guys on the phone to get another replacement because the first was damaged. I just wanted to say, the lady on the call would non stop keep trying to sell us services we didn't want and said no over and over and she kept on going. Really annoying. No phone company should cause anyone so much trouble and grief like this ever. It is unacceptable to treat a 15 year customer like this. UPDATE! 12/30/25 It appaers we never got our 99.00 back. Your guys are thieves!

    The staff here are excellent. My family came in to get my phone upgraded and hit a snag. Kade handled our case and was extremely helpful, calling customer support for us and getting the issue fixed. He was friendly, patient, supportive, and spent a lot of time of time with us answering our many questions (along with getting the above issue fixed). Overall, he demonstrated that he cared about us as people and not just products. If you’re looking for a Verizon store with friendly, helpful, and honest staff, this is the one to go to!
