    I am on an account with my parents which have been with Verizon for about 30yrs. Bought a brand new phone but started having issues with it after 2-3 months and needed a replacement. I didn't want a refurbished phone but they fought with me about it saying their refurbished phones are certified ect ect. Started having issues with the refurbished phone so I called a few times and said again that I don't want another refurbished phone. Of course they fought about that again so I asked to speak to a manager or somebody and they said I couldn't and could only speak with customer care agent. Recently, my parents supposedly got "free" phones, a tablet, and a smart watch but still getting billed for the free items. Always seem to have surprise charges on our bill constantly. Very expensive and the service is unreliable, I always have 1-2 bars at most. Even going into the city there are times I don't get good service there either. One thing I can say is that Verizon use to have great service many yrs ago. But now everything about Verizon is a complete ripoff, horrible cellphone reception, very poor customer service, way too expensive, misleading and greedy when it comes to any of their promotions for free anything bc they still end up charging you somehow. I honestly don't know why we still have contracts with them for so long bc it isn't worth it at all!
