I had a one phone line consumer account with Verizon for over 2 years. I went in the Muscle Shoals AL. store to get wifi back in March of 2024. I told the store manager the price range I could pay every month. He told me I could get unlimited 5G wifi for $39.99 monthly (with a price lock guarantee for 36 months) if I swapped from a consumer account to a business account. So that's what we done! (That's one of the biggest mistakes I've made in many years!!) Come to find out he didn't put it in the system as 5G unlimited for $39.99 he put it in as 4G LTE 300 GB. I went back to the store and got the run around between the store and the customer service support line for a couple of months. My bill was fixed back to my price range, but what I was paying for on my bill still wasn't correct. That all happened in the summer of 2024. Now in July of 2025 my bill jumped up over $800 and I've been trying to get my bill fixed. Its now mid October and they still haven't fixed my bill and they're trying to force me to pay for a mess up on their end! Ive been in the stores more times than i can count on both hands for this same bill issue. I went in the Verizon store again yesterday I was there from 11:15 am until 5pm trying to get my phones turned back on because Verizon turned them off after assuring me they would NOT get turn off while my bill is under an investigation. This is the 3rd time they have turned my phones off for the over charges that I DO NOT Owe! The Verizon employees in the store has even told them at customer service this was a mistake that was made IN THE STORE on their end and not mine! Every time I asked for a supervisor with customer support yesterday they would put me on hold and then hang the call up. I asked for a supervisor because every time I called they would say this is a billing issue and give me the number to call billing. Every time I called billing they would tell me it was a financial support issue and would give me the number to call financial support. It was back and forth all day with those two departments. I called both number over and over spent 6 hours of my day at the Verizon store getting 0 help from customer services support line. I asked billing why my bill wasn't fixed after all this time and he told me HE DIDN'T KNOW AND COULDN'T TELL ME WHY. I asked him who I needed to speak with to find out why my bill hasn't been fixed and he said HE DIDN'T KNOW. I need someone from Verizon's higher ups to get in contact with me. Im doing my research on the best attorney I can find right now. Im trying to resolve this out of court but im getting nowhere with the Verizon stores or Verizon customer service support line. They will send me to other store that WILL NOT help and tell me to go back to the store I bought the device from. Verizon has literally been running me in circles like a chicken with its head cut off!! Every time I call customer service each one of them will tell me something different. The store manager is the one that sold me this wifi and I still can't get my bill fixed in the system! I would love for it to be fixed so my daughter can get the new iPhone 17 pro max that we had already pre-ordered to get but customer service is telling me not to do anything with my account until this investigation on my bill is over and done. They tell me my bill will be fixed in 5 to 7 business days but its been months. Well over a year and my bill still has not been fixed!!! Im tired of dealing with this company and I wouldn't advise anyone to do business with the Verizon company!! I would really like to settle this out of court but Verizon is not leaving me with any other choice. I have multiple recordings of the customer service saying my bill will be fixed in 5 to 7 business days but im still fighting to get it fixed. Verizon Customers Service is running my card without my permission. Verizon has turned into a shady shady business. I would not recommend Verizon Business to anyone. This mess is ridiculous!! The girls in the office has tried to help as much as they could.
