    @verizoncorporate My phone went out on the 30th and it's going on day 7 and I'm still waiting on a phone they promise to overnight me a replacement. All I have been getting is the run around! I lost several days of work and almost got fired because of no means of communication which is required to do my job!!! I have to use a phone several different ways in order to complete my work.

    Verizon DREAM TEAM Review Exceptional customer service began with Ken, Shay, and Kendall. On Tuesday, my mobile service was abruptly cut off without explanation. I assumed it was a system error and went into the Verizon store on Ann St., expecting a quick resolution. That was not the case. Ken, the initial in-store representative, called Verizon customer service on my behalf. To my surprise, they claimed I didn’t even have an account—which was simply not true. Ken remained persistent and eventually located my account. Over the next conversations, the “reason” for my disconnection changed at least four times. I was told an investigation could take 24–72 hours. As a chaplain, elder, and someone in the middle of relocating out of state, being without service for days was extremely disruptive. After 48 hours with no resolution, I returned to the Ann St. location. Once again, Ken worked diligently with Verizon’s customer service. This time, Shay stepped in to help, and together they brought in Kendall. What followed was an ordeal of being transferred from one representative to another, yet these three never gave up. At last, Kendall was able to reach a supervisor with the authority to restore my service. With a big smile, he handed me my phone and said, “Your service is restored.” The three of them burst out in laughter, and I couldn’t help but join in! Ken, Shay, and Kendall are truly a DREAM TEAM. Their persistence, teamwork, and determination turned a frustrating situation into a victory for customer service. They worked tirelessly until I was fully satisfied. Thank you, Ken, Shay, and Kendall!

    NEW RESIDENT AND PERSPECTIVE NEW VERIZON CUSTOMER NEAR THE 925 ANN STREET VERIZON STORE . . . . I was in Hueytown, Alabama the day before. I passed by a Verizon Store off Allison Memorial Drive while driving my elderly Uncle to lunch. I wanted to stop at the Verizon Store in Hueytown, Alabama because I believed the area had a better quality of customer service oriented retail associates working in the store. I had passed by the Verizon Store off 925 Ann Street and I saw a different class of Black, African American residents that no matter what type of corporate training or education they receive they will always personify a classless rudeness. I had an inclination to call the Verizon Store located at 925 Ann Street before visiting. Thank God I did because Kevin or Calvin unfortunately did exactly what I fear about patronizing retail stores in predominantly, low income “Black” neighborhoods. Kevin has a very short tempered isn’t the type of retail associate I would employ in a customer service role and his team members no one there had the business experience or skills to ask him could someone else speak with the customer to see if anyone else could better assist me. Yes, Kevin Hung Up the Phone In My Face Four Times. I put my Beats Bluetooth Ear Plugs in my ear to make sure he could hear me. Again and again and again he hung up the phone in my ear and I heard his associates in the background laughing. THIS GOOGLE REVIEW IS FOR THE DISTRICT MANAGER BECAUSE THE GENERAL MANAGER IN THE 925 ANN STREET VERIZON STORE HAS NO LEADERSHIP NOR TRAINING SKILLS TO MANAGE AN ASSOCIATE LIKE KEVIN. @ The Black, African American Communities near Ann Street . . . . It’s sad that I would prefer shopping in a predominantly Caucasian or predominantly Latino or Mexican Community vs a predominantly Black, African American Community whereas the resident here lack knowledge, power, and ownership of self and surrounding properties. I’ll shop in another community, town or city before I walk into a retail store on Ann Street.
