The only two times a friends company didn’t handle our personal and business needs were complete disasters. I mean bad. So when we had a construction delay and my buddy was booked up I was petrified. But he called and said “I got someone for you I work closely with. She is the only person I refer to and you will be happy I guarantee it.” The next day Christine called, came over to check the house out and had us on the schedule for our new move window. As a business owner I look for dilligence , responsiveness and the ability to handle curveballs. They displayed all that and more.
One of the curveballs was that two rooms were unable to be walked on as the floor didn’t cure in time. No problem, they loaded the garage and scheduled a time to come back on Saturday to move those rooms in. There was an EXTREMELY heavy item that had to get moved. I told them ideally it was upstairs but if it’s too heavy and hard we can put it in the basement where there is a walkout and no stairs needed if they went around the back. Most people when given an option would choose the easier route. Not these guys; they moved this thing up a tough angle and it was no easy and too boot the tire on the hand truck went flat due to the weight, but instead of taking the easy route after that they persisted.
The Guys were polite, personable, efficient and extremely helpful. I hate asking for help but suffered severe spinal trauma, when they saw me trying to carry something to MY truck as there are some items they can’t put in theirs, they rushed to help. The move was slightly over 6 hours including drive time and assembling desks etc. The price was extremely fair and service superb. Moving our office or construction sites is easy, but we HATE moving our own house. However Gentry made a stressful thing so much easier. You cannot go wrong with Gentry!
