  Even moving a full three-bedroom home, the team kept things efficient. They loaded quickly, secured everything properly, and worked with energy the whole time. I was surprised at how smooth the entire day felt from start to finish.

  My family had a late afternoon move, and I thought the movers might rush to finish before evening, but they didn’t. They paced it perfectly, checked off each room one by one, and stayed until all things were placed where they should be.

  Living on a busy street makes parking a big truck difficult. The driver managed to park legally without blocking the traffic. The crew carried each thing down the sidewalk to the ramp. They moved the sofa and the heavy appliances without complaining about the distance. They worked efficiently despite the noise and the cars passing by. It was impressive to watch them navigate such a busy area so well.

  The absolute worst experience I have ever had. I have been overcharged, driver refused to deliver my items to my home despite availability within driving truck accommodation to my home. Damaged furniture items, including 55 inch TV. I have followed up with the company for a claim information I was told. this claim will take over a month to be completed. Even though they have not yet sent me the claim information so that I could go ahead and submit my claim in due time. There is only one person available for customer nobody else can help in any other was nobody else can help in any other way. Driver was extremely disrespectful Raising his voice at and using disrespectful language. Please be aware and do not do business with this company as moves are already stressful enough it is not fair to pay for services that you are not fully receiving and for you to be disrespected and having damaged furniture, items, and electronics

  Update!! It's been over 29 days today, I still have not received my stuff. The worst company that I've ever dealt with. Distance Movers is a scam. They lie, they cheat & the most unprofessional bunch of people run this scam. Nobody takes time to post negative remarks if it was not the worst experience. Unless you can deal with trauma, stress, anguish & regret DO NOT pick Distance Movers from NJ for your move. Lies lies lies. They should change their name to lier movers. The person who I communicated with who called himself Andrew lied. Told me that I would have access to the delivery driver and communicate with him throughout. My stuff would be delivered from New Jersey to San Diego in 7-10 days. And that he would be the mover or his partner. He said they are a small company and run by drivers themselves and was portraying to me a genuine person. All lies. While trying to get my business he texted and answered all calls. They picked up my stuff on 11/18/25. Today is 12/12/25. It's been 25 day's and I have no clue where my stuff are. He is the main lying guy. He gave me the quote that was comparative to other companies had quoted. At the last minute when they came to pick up my belongings they charged me over $1100 more than what was quoted. At the last minute when everything is already loaded in their truck they changed price and changed the delivery from 7-10 days up to 10-21 days. This company is a scam. As they had promised deliver within 7-10 days I packed my daily medications for only 2 weeks in my suitcase & rest I packed in one of the boxes they were taking, thinking 7-10 can be 7-12 or 13 days but I never thought it would be over 25 days with no communication. Their phone operator female is the rudest, very unkind, unprofessional person. DO NOT USE THIS company for your move. You will regret. I promise you will regret. They are unprofessional, Liers and very rude and unkind people. This is a scam not a business. I have reported distance movers to BBB as well for scamming people into giving them business and then not keeping their words. Everything this guy Andrew told me was a lie. I give them minus star not even one star. They don't even deserve zero star. Because of them I had to pay for the apartment all this while extra days when I didn't have to rent. I could have stayed with my family or friends. But because of their lies I had to pay all this time for the place where they still haven't delivered my stuff. It was a huge move for me from Nj to CA. They have made this experience a terrible nightmare. The operator picks up the call in an aggressive manner which tells they get customers calling only to complain. Otherwise why would she be so rude & aggressive & impolite? I'm sure she is frustrated & unhappy with her job because she has to face unhappy customers who have been lied to all day every day. Beware!! I received my items in 31 days. It was a move from New Jersey to California. Stressful, waste of a lot of money, frustrating, mentally draining, sad, depressing were the overall experience with Distance Movers. The most incompetent, lying, scam group of people run this scam. My tv was broken, I threw it away. Furnitures had scratches & torn. Few boxes torn, legs of tables broken. It was a disaster. You will regret if you pick this company. I haven't taken my daily medication since past Monday. Insurance won't cover because I already took 3 months refill from NJ as I was moving here. So I have no medication. If anything happens to me Distance Movers & specially Andrew is to be blamed. This has been the most horrifying experience for me.
