My Mom is staying with me for Hospice Care and no longer needs her Assisted Living Apartment. We’ve been so busy, but it occurred to me the weekend of January 3rd that if we moved her stuff out of the apartment and into a storage unit by January 9th, we would avoid paying rent again. So, I left a message on Simple Move’s website . I mentioned the starting address, and the address of the storage unit & that I needed packing materials as well as personnel to pack up and move everything. Even though they were closed, I got a quick response stating they’d get back with me. I also left an inventory of items in the apartment with an estimated of the boxes I thought we would need. On Monday, I got a quote. Initially, the quote was for 2 movers , a truck & 3 1/2 hours labor. After speaking with Mary in the office, and confirming that I’d like someone to actually pack up everything as well as relocate it , another mover was added, & the. estimated time was doubled. The cost was doubled but very fair. We were told they would arrive between 8-10. They arrived on time & finished in half the time. My brother was there and said that they were very professional, careful with my Mom’s belongings & great all around. We were charged less than the original quote! I just can’t say enough about this company!! I highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you Simple Moves!
- KWKlara WEis5 days ago5.0Kevin and Cory were wonderful. On time, polite, took a lot of care taking downstairs a very heavy fireplace as well as carefully taking all the other furniture. Not one was dinged or damaged. They also helped turn my bed around when we got to my new house so fireplace would fit in a better place. This company is very affordable because Kevin and Cory worked very fast so I had everything moved in a two hour window. I would recommend them any time.
