Had a great backwater trip with Captain Nick on a chilly, windy December afternoon. He put us on fish right away and kept the action steady. We caught good eater-size speckled trout and landed seven different species, including speckled trout, silver trout, sheepshead, and even a bonnethead shark. Nick was knowledgeable, easygoing, and clearly knows these waters well. Solid, enjoyable trip and I’d gladly fish with him again.

Captain Nick was not only extremely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Fishing Charter Experience!
We booked a fishing charter with Native Guided Fishing Tours while visiting Marco Island, and it was truly an experience our family will never forget.
It was just my wife, our two sons, and me, and from start to finish Captain Nick was outstanding. Early on, I pointed out a dolphin swimming near our boat, and Captain Nick said, “Let’s see if I can get it to surf the wake.” Sure enough, he positioned the boat just right — and the dolphin began surfing our wave! It followed behind us, jumping in and out of the water at least six times, flopping on its side and it was smiling the entire time. It was absolutely magical. Luckily, we were able to videotape it.
On top of that, the fishing was fantastic. My younger son battled a stingray for over 16 minutes and came out victorious — a moment he’ll be talking about for years. We also caught several other fish, and Captain Nick really showed his expertise by moving us between different spots whenever the bite slowed down. He clearly knows these waters inside and out.
Captain Nick was patient, knowledgeable, and great with kids, making sure everyone had fun and felt involved. This wasn’t just a fishing trip — it was a true Marco Island adventure.
If you’re looking for a family-friendly charter with incredible wildlife moments and great fishing, I can’t recommend Native Guided Fishing Tours and Captain Nick highly enough. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Capt. Kyle did a great job on our fishing Charter. He was very attentive to our poles and making sure we always had bait on. It was a little windy and he took us to different locations to find the fish, bonus on our tour was seeing the dolphins up close. Thank you Kyle for a fun day!
