I have to transfer an old car into my name after my uncle died. I went in to do that and for some reason they couldn’t find the vehicle in the system despite having the original title with me.. The lady didn’t want to charge me the fee for a new title so she asked if I had anything else about the car. So I left to see if we had any other paperwork and we did not. The first experience was fine.
I went back and was helped by a blonde lady with tattoos who may or may not have been named Deborah. She had zero customer service skills and lacked any sense of humanity. She blurted out “how much did you pay?” but it took me a minute to realize what she was saying. So I told her it was a gift from my uncle. Clearly she did not hear me cause she said it was a gift from a friend. I said no my uncle. She went on to explain family meant immediate family and listed what that meant. Really?
Then as we continued she wanted to know if it was a car or truck. It’s 56 Nomad also called by Chevy a delivery sedan. I told her it was a delivery sedan. She said that’s the model. I said all I have and of course what what is on the title. (Which was in front of her.)
At this point I had had enough. She had been speaking to me in a condescending fashion the entire time and was not explaining what she needed. Her form of communication was to bark orders at me.
Finally I reached under the glass grabbed my license and documents and proceeded to leave. She said “wow!”. I said “you are being rude” and she said “you came in with an attitude”. As I walked out I said “goodbye”. I had no attitude when I came in. I was confused by her way of communicating and her holier than thou attitude.
While the first lady was very nice the second one needs more training. I won’t go back there again.

Cash only with an ATM inside that way over charges for cash that is most likely owned by the business. They can process your WA State DMV needs, just bring cash.
