  Over three years ago, I was in the process of rebuilding my life after leaving a domestic violence situation that involved physical, financial, and verbal abuse. Even after leaving, the abuse continued through psychological and emotional means, the court system, and social media, especially because we share children. This has required ongoing protective orders, custody proceedings, and divorce hearings, many of which are still ongoing due to repeated filings and violations by the other party. Brooke Roman has been truly exceptional throughout this entire process. She consistently ensures that I understand what is happening with each case, what to expect next, and how matters will be presented in court. She listens carefully to my concerns and perspectives, provides clear and knowledgeable legal guidance in areas I had no prior experience in, and shows genuine compassion and understanding for the emotional toll this process takes. For anyone who has experienced domestic violence, whether children are involved or not, my advice is this: first, find safety above all else, and second reach out to Brooke Roman.   John was the second divorce attorney I hired after a terrible first experience at a different firm. He helped me navigate a very challenging divorce and custody matters that had previously delayed (over a period of years) due to the level of complexity. A calm, proactive professional that has an excellent rapport with judges and well-respected in the courts. He's highly intelligent and very good at weeding through/processing information quickly.   Mr. Bryant took over my divorce case after my initial attorney had to step down due to personal reasons. I found Mr. Bryant to be polite, caring, and very professional. Whenever speaking with Mr. Bryant, I felt that he was genuinely concerned with my well-being, the outcome of my divorce, and the impact it had on my future. I truly felt that he listened to my needs and concerns. His staff was friendly from the first time I met them until the day my divorce was finalized. Mr. Bryant was readily available whenever I needed him. He went as far as to call me when he was on vacation, which I found refreshing that he cared “above and beyond”. My divorce case was a very difficult case to handle, with a lot of unusual twists and turns to it.
