  Honestly, if you ever need a divorce lawyer I highly recommend Jesse Baez. He is expensive but he is worth the amount I paid. When I went to my consultation to retain Jesse I was given a call by my sister telling me my ex husband filed the divorce first. I was a hot mess and very emotional during the consultation. Jesse was very patient and understanding through the whole consultation. After I had retained him. He did a very thorough job going back and forth with my ex husbands lawyer. My situation is not as bad as others, but I would recommend him for anyone going through a tough time. Communication is always key for me during stressful times and Jesse and his Legal Assistant nailed it.

If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, prepared, and cares about doing what’s right for the child, we wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Baez. He guided us through a challenging process after the loss of our young niece’s mother, helping us secure permanent sole custody. Mr. Baez demonstrated deep knowledge of family law and recent Virginia rulings. His preparation was exceptional: he connected us with a highly qualified forensic psychologist whose report was pivotal, he collaborated effectively with the guardian ad litem, and it was clear he read all the information we provided him. When the absent, biological father unexpectedly appeared in court, Mr. Baez did not miss a beat. He shifted strategy on the spot and argued our case with incredible skill and confidence. Early communication felt a bit stop-and-go, but we came to appreciate Mr. Baez was careful not to waste time and rack up unnecessary costs. Ms. Fernandez was also incredibly helpful. Through our workplace benefits program, we found this firm's services to be excellent value for money. (Our only gripe was with the recommended private investigator, whose report could have been pulled from TruthFinder and public records for a fraction of the cost.) Mr. Baez's professionalism and compassion made all the difference during a very difficult chapter of our lives, and we’ll always be thankful for his role in protecting our niece’s future.

  I can't get them to provide me their rates for a case their websites says they handle all the time. They want me to pay $300 for a consolation first. Firms like this make it impossible to find a good lawyer, each one requiring you to pay a fee before finding out their rates.
