  Hiring Carmichael Ellis & Brock (Yancey Ellis) was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my family’s legal issue. He is by far the most passionate lawyer I’ve ever encountered — zealous, aggressive when needed, and fully dedicated to giving us the strongest defense possible. From start to finish, it was clear that he cared deeply about his craft, his profession, and providing us with the absolute best representation. What stood out just as much was the respect he commanded in the courtroom. Even bail bondsmen and court clerks recognized him and noted how he consistently makes prosecutors work hard. That gave me incredible confidence in knowing we had the right person on our side. To this day, I remain blown away by his skill, humility, and thoughtfulness. I only hope he’ll still be available if we ever need his services again — though I wouldn’t be surprised to see him rise to even higher levels in his career, which would be well deserved. I highly recommend Yancey Ellis without hesitation.

  Zach represented me in a Fairfax County case. I could not have been happier with his zealous and thoughtful representation. I am not an easy client and Zach was excellent at communicating with me about my case and strongest strategies to meet my goals. I would absolutely hire Zach again and I recommend him when asked for referrals. Zach is an honest, communicative, smart, and effective attorney. No one can guarantee any case outcome, but Zach will be up front with you about possibilities and advocate for you in your case. Zach is worth more than every penny charged; and I also happened to be pleased with my case outcome thanks to Zach’s expertise and experience. Highly recommend.

  Jessica was truly a breath of fresh air when I felt like I was living in one long panic attack. Not only did she keep me informed of what was (or was not) going on with my case! But I did not even have to SEE A COURT ROOM! I was notified several days before my FIRST initial appearance that the case was dismissed! I will tell you, In my case I knew I wanted... I searched long and hard for the best, I needed a win. I needed the charge to go away so I could move on with my life! So I hired the best and it was worth every penny! That said, if you are inquiring as to if you should retain Jessica and her team for financial reasons (because unfortunately the best is not going to be the cheapest), THINK ABOUT THIS because I assure you that is there is NO PRICE ON FREEDOM! Freedom from jail, probation, or the freedom to work without this mark on your name... Whatever freedom that is in jeopardy.... Let this team do what they do. This group WORKS to win and WILL get you the absolute best result possible in your situation. I knew from the start... Just instinct in my case ( and a ton of research that backed up my instinct) I have been through some legal "stuff" and the comments like this was one of the ways I could see what people were saying about her results, and it helped me pick a literal "super lawyer" which is what I needed. The least I can do is let people that may be in my situation now, to know where to go and what to expect. So relax, take the advice I'm giving, and just remember that you are in great hands! I personally have NEVER left a comment on anything like this but it would not be fair If I don't share my experience with the people, especially people with their back against the wall and need to know which route to take. It is also only fair that I share my experience because I'm greatful. I am greatful more than words can express ...the entire team is great, and Jessica Charmicheal is truely a rare find. As an attorney who cares about getting results and doing the impossible, she was a blessing!!! Just my opinion. M.
