Mr John Elliott the lawyer fought for my inheritance when I was a child. Then, he did the same for my family  in a different case. . It was emotionally very hard for me in my own case and he seemed aware and considerate if my feelings all the time. He is very smart and does things that are strategically  helpful for success. Im not a child any more but I will always be grateful to Mr. Elliott for taking care of my interests. .

John Elliott is by far the best Man for a Texas probate law job. Almost immediately I was put at ease by his sincere and professional demeanor. His working recall and knowledge of Texas Probate code is phenomenal. He handled my cases efficiently and got the job done in spite of various bumps in our path along the way. I recommend John Elliott for any probate or trust matters you have. John, in general, is a man of his word and a great man overall. I highly recommend him for legal matters in any county or court. ( he handled cases for me in Harris and Bexar) . He is someone I came to value greatly.

I spoke with an attorney there today at 11 o’clock For a little over an hour In regards to my dad’s probate after my dad passed away September 15 of 2020 in which I was receiving updates from a probate attorney that a family member hired for 3 1/2 years or so. This attorney at this law firm asked me why did I wait so long to take action? Not in those exact words, but close enough. In my personal and professional opinion, that was very tacky. I didn’t wait to take action. I was getting updates from the attorney that my brother hired. He asked me what form name that I brought up, and I didn’t know what the form name was. I was struggling to try to find it so I called them back to leave him a message with the cause number (at 11:36 PM ) and the name of the form. The receptionist got my information while I was trying to interject in kind way leaving the information that he needed, but I couldn’t. She kept asking me. Do I want to set an appointment and was I a client. I assumed that I was a client due to the fact that he made some sort of statement to me that we would be talking again. I told her yes I would like to set an appointment. She told me she was checking for availability. I waited for her. Then she told me he has no availability. I asked her OK are you telling me he doesn’t have an availability A week from now maybe two weeks from now? She told me no he doesn’t have any availability. I can’t remember if she said it stated that in the notes or not, meaning it was notated that if I called to set an appointment to tell me, he has no availability at all ever. I don’t believe in lying, I don’t believe in exaggerating up or down, but I’m almost positive that’s what was stated. She didn’t come out and say to tell me he has no availability ever but it was obvious. Due to my prior experience heading up the fraud division with one of the largest financial institutions over all of the USA as well as auditing companies with a net worth up to 600 billion dollars I have the expertise on spotting when I’m being indirectly sidelined. Unfortunately, in my personal life, I’m not good at spotting when someone is being indirect with me. I wish the gentleman that I spoke with would’ve been upfront with me and at least told me that he wasn’t interested in taking my case. I worked all evening from the time I got off the phone with him until just a few minutes ago and it’s almost midnight to try to get him the cause number and the name of the form that he asked me for. I had respect for him enough to not stop until I retrieved the answers to his questions. I put everything to the side the entire day with the clear understanding that I was his client! That was very clear to me due to the fact that he made a statement that we would be talking again! It’s so unprofessional to just not be upfront with an individual telling them you don’t want to take their case! Then 12 hours later I have someone say that you don’t have availability at all ever! You have the nerve to ask me why I waited so long (4 years) when I clearly stated I was getting updates from the family attorney thinking everything was okay! You would think that he would at least have respect enough for me to directly tell me he couldn’t take my case. Correct me if I’m wrong on this, however, if someone asked me, why did I wait so long? That’s a clear statement that person is assuming that I waited for some sort of ulterior motive or I waited so long because I was dragging my feet. I was calling for legal representation, not to be spoken to like I’m beneath a person. Well, this is just another day for me to so-called wait a little longer to do something about this! You wasted my time! If you would’ve been direct with me telling me you couldn’t represent me or you weren’t interested in taking my case I could’ve spent the entire day looking for an attorney that could go “to bat” for me. This was God‘s plan for me to figure out sooner than later the capacity of your character!

My family has been working with Mr. Elliott for over ten years. He is very good at what he does, I highly recommend him. He handled several issues for us, related to trusts, wills, estate planning and probate. He is very caring and listens to your needs, stepping in to offer advise and counsel not just to do paperwork. If you or anyone you know and love is in need of his services, me any my family give our highest endorsement. Thank you, John !
