What she did to my case destroyed everything. She put a 1 year t.r.o. against me dropped mine on my husband & removed an order to drop my husband's t.r.o. should be disbarred also owes me 5k & admitted it than made up reasons for her time for the other 5k. She also bashed me to every new lawyer I tried to hire b/c the next jerk Said I was the idiot for dropping my t.r.o when she did it ^ worse the judge allowed it. I even begged the judge not to let my own lawyer do this !! Then she ran out & Said " oh btw ur not getting anything in the divorce. She also against my wishes consolidated the divorce custody back to the same bias judge & afc. Drops the ball constantly & tells lawyers that I didn't pay her. I've filed with the judiciary commitee & am suing her for my money back & damages. I know she called my husband's mother b/c she barely knew me & my mother in law ex to be Is a pyscho & word for word said things only that lunatic would say. She didn't nothing in my case & this has had devastating consequences on my life & kids b/c the next lawyer based on her trashing me to him which is breaking attorney client privmedge. She talked such a big game yet did nothing & even had me go to see my kids at some horrible place. I'd love to know if she did this b/c the biased afc told her to. Lastly she's such a liar promised to show my evidence & it bothered her that I was staying w/ family. Also when I fired her she said she would charge for that. I sent her emails certified letters etc. .y kids & my life were really wrecked by this sad excuse for a lawyer. Many told me they love seeing they are going up against her b/c she does nothing.

I do not recommend Ms. Pelesz. She represented me from Nov 2021 to May 2022 and I am leaving this review now that my divorce is finalized via different representation. She was unorganized, unresponsive, and unprofessional. After firing her, my new legal team discovered that she did not file my divorce correctly (my ex husband was never served and she tried to file it in the wrong county). She dropped the ball several times thereafter causing us to miss a court appearance and failing to advise/file anything after my then husband physically attacked me while I had a restraining order against him. That cost me a lot of time and resources for zero progress while I was enduring threats and attacks from an abusive opposing party. She never cared about any of this nor did she look into documents/recordings/etc that I sent her. Her office always had an excuse for why they hadn’t done anything or hadn’t responded to my emails. While she seemed to have the experience and knowledge, she simply could not deliver because of the malfunctioning practice that she was trying to run herself. When I did confront her by asking direct questions about the way forward for my case, she became very hostile and said that if I didn’t find new representation that she would file a motion to be removed from my case. She kept every penny from my retainer. She didn’t own up to any of her faults and essentially blamed me for any communication issues. Divorce is hard enough. Find a lawyer willing to fight for you. Kimberly Pelesz will not.

As I went through the grueling divorce and Custody process with Kimberly and her team by my side, there were numerous times I considered myself extremely grateful for having her in my corner. Her skill, expertise, intelligence, and knowledge were all evenly balanced with amazing empathy, compassion, thoughtfulness, and integrity. Even though divorce process brings out the worst in both parties, I could not have been happier with her . Kimberly was amazing at helping me maintain my balance. She is one of the most genuine, caring, honest, kind, humble, and dedicated individual you will ever meet. Kim won a place deep in my heart not just as my counsel, but as my friend, and I look forward to continuing to build a long-lasting friendship with her

Give her a chance and I trust she will get you the best outcome possible!
