  Choosing Irene to help me through my divorce was the best decision I could have made. She was able to help guide me through a difficult process, making it as simple as possible. When it came to negotiating a settlement, she helped by producing innovative ideas to solve complex problems. She helped me understand what details were important to me and I should push for, and just as importantly when I was being unreasonable and should compromise. In the end we ended with a fair settlement, and the best possible plan for my daughter. Divorce is difficult, but anyone in that situation would benefit from reaching out to Irene.

  Irene was recommended to me by a good friend. I was told she would take care of me through the unwanted aspects of a divorce while having my child's best interest at the forefront of her mind. She listened to me through many tears and made an awful situation as smooth as possible. She dealt with every legal aspect so I didn't have to worry about that. She explained things well and would always answer and re-answer any questions I had through the painful process. I will be forever grateful for her knowledge and professionalism.

  I'm so thankful for the excellent recommendation to use King Collaborative Family Law to prepare my prenuptial agreement. I was pressed for time, and Irene immediately set up an appointment to explain NC Law to me and let me know what my options were. Once decided, she started working on my agreement immediately, always taking time to walk me through anything I did not understand. The process was extremely efficient due to Irene's knowledge and expertise. I would highly recommend King Collaborate Family Law!

  Divorce is never easy and for most it’s uncharted territory. I expected chaos and court dates, but my experience working with Irene King showed me there was a better way, a less stressful way, and a more fair and amicable way to untangle and dissolve the marriage contract. With Irene’s guidance and expertise, we successfully collaborated with my ex’s attorney and came to a speedy agreement that worked out for everyone. Irene was the voice of reason when emotions would run high, and helped both parties see the pragmatic, fair alternatives that should be considered and pursued.
