- SSSanti SantiJul 21, 20251.0TERRIBLE PROBATE LEGAL COUNSEL! Jacob Brandt has been horrible to have representing our mother's estate probate. The probate case is going on 5+ years and still not closed. All creditors have been paid years ago. There was a tax issue that was dragging things out but has long been resolved(over 1yr). He submits, to the court, filings to close the case but his court filings are constantly rejected due to miss-filing of either process, documents, accounts, etc... I now received information in writing from the personal representative claiming that Jacob Brandt does not return her calls. The personal representative has checked with the Circuit Court Clerk inquiring upon documents that Jacob Brandt was supposed to file only to be told from the Clerk that Brandt never filed them. The probate is still ongoing. I have reached out to Jacob Brandt and left messages on his office line(ext. 103) 3 times in the past week with not one attempt made to contact me back. He has never been very responsive in almost 6 years.
