I have used Amanda Bloomgren to do legal work for me on several issues related to my investment real estate portfolio. During those interactions, she has been competent, to the point and practical. I have enjoyed her knack for simplifying things to their essence so I am not off in the woods obsessing about the whys and rather can be focused on successful, cost effective outcomes. I like her general good humor and perspective on work, life and dealing with conflicts. I recommend her highly to my clients and friends.

I was referred to Amanda Bloomgren by another attorney and hired her with the understanding that she would advocate zealously on my behalf and give my case the priority it deserved. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those expectations. In my experience, Ms. Bloomgren did not demonstrate the level of advocacy I anticipated. There were moments when I felt my case did not receive the focused attention and strategic effort that a serious legal matter warrants. A recurring impression was that personal or professional relationships with opposing counsel were given more weight than the substantive needs and objectives of my case. This perception undermined confidence in the fairness and rigor of the representation. On several occasions, I was left with the impression that Ms. Bloomgren’s actions favored the opposing side rather than advocating for my best interests. Some explanations I received about her interactions with opposing counsel did not align with what later came to light, which made it difficult to trust the accuracy of her communications. Also, her rudeness is NOT appreciated. Another area of concern involved billing. Though I understand that legal work can be costly, I felt that billing practices lacked the transparency necessary to build trust. Clearer explanations and itemized breakdowns of fees—along with more upfront discussions about projected costs—would have been appreciated. Fee structures and billing frequency should align with the complexity and progress of the case, and clients should never feel uncertain about what they are being charged for. If you prioritize aggressive courtroom advocacy, transparent communication, and a partner who treats your case as the top priority, you may wish to consider alternatives that align more closely with those values.
